TIME SKIP; YOU ALL ARRIVED BACK AT THE COMPOUND AND THEY TOOK YOU TO THE MEDICAL WING [IT'S ALSO EARLY IN THE MORNING LIKE 2]

"While in the building everything happening around you caused your adrenaline to rush, and know I realize that your adrenaline dissipated and the stress set in, once you walked into the quinjet I assume you felt overwhelmed and that's what overall, caused your heart attack." Bruce tries to explain to you and Natasha.

"So what happens now?" Nat asks.

"Well personally I've only ever met a few people your age that have suffered from a heart attack, I recommend wearing this heart rate monitor, it's programmed so that if your heartrate gets to a dangerous level it'll beep obnoxiously. I recommend staying in this room overnight, just for tonight. Tomorrow you can go back to yours, limit your exercise, I wouldn't go anywhere by yourself and if you can, have someone with you at practically all times." He says, handing you the heartrate monitor watch.

"I'll leave you for the night, and if anything feels wrong just press this button on the watch, even the slightest thing can be a sign of something bad." He says showing you the button on the watch.

You lay there without saying anything.

"Thankyou." Nat says, for you.

Bruce leaves and she sighs.

"I know you don't want to talk and I respect that, but when you want to...I'll be waiting." She assures you.

You stare at the ceiling, the lights burning your eyes.

"Can you turn off the lights." You say, the first words Nat heard you say since the drive last night.

She smiles at your voice.

"Yeah." She says, getting off her chair and walking to the light switch.

She's extremely tired, having not slept yet, but she stays awake not wanting anything to happen to you. She thinks you're asleep but all you could think about is what could've gone differently.

What if you told him to shoot you instead? Your dad would finally be set free, he'd be able to mentor Peter and get him to be the hero he was meant to be, he'd continue making his advanced technology, and he would continue throwing his stupid parties.

Your eyes tear at the thought at what could've been his life.

You sniffle and try wipe your eye, your body feels so weak, like bags of sand are tied to your limbs and you just can't move them.

"Y/n?" Natasha says, thinking you were asleep.

"I miss him." You say, sniffling.

"I know you do, and it's okay to miss him, but guess what?" Nat asks.

"Hm." You mumble.

"You're making him so proud, I bet he's looking down at you and he can't help but feel accomplished, he'll always be watching over you at your darkest times leading the way, even though you may not want to follow it." She says, the last part making you laugh.

"There's that beautiful smile of yours." She says, cupping your face with one hand.

"Can you promise something?" You ask.

"Sure." She says confused.

"Promise me you'll never leave me." You say looking at her.

"I promise." She says.

"Like you mean it." You respond.

"I promise you, Y/n Stark that I will never leave you." She says, grabbing your hand with her free one.

"I'll hold you to that." You joke.

"Good." She says, kissing you.

"Now why don't you go bed." She says, letting go off you hand.

"But I can't sleep without you next to me." You say, patting the bed.

"We are not going to fit on that small of a bed." She responds.

"Please." You beg.

"The things I do for you." She jokes, layng beside you.
