Unovara finally appeared. "Hey, cousins! Trick or treat?" She smiled with a grin. She had some candy in her hand. They were baffled as to how she managed it. Uno held up a piece of candy. She would often disappear from the scene. Then make a peace offering and return. It was her cousin's intention to aggravate her. Well, come on? What kind of child doesn't enjoy candy?
Deborah took this as a justification to act ruthlessly and without reason.
"Uhm, we are busy trying to pick out a game and relax from all the day's hard work; the least you can do is apologize or make a game suggestion. Do not offer candy, Mother Teresa."
"Excuse you? You're going to catch these hands, Deborah. Unovara replied, rolling up her sleeves as though she were preparing for a brawl. After glancing left at Deborah, Sukoo headed right in the direction of Unovara.
"Vakewtu Guysa Toho, why are you guys trying to fight one another? I don't like people who fight. Can we live in peace, please?"
They knew they had to break up with Sukoo before she started crying since she seemed a little too sentimental and serene. All of us had presumed that it was inherited or that she had simply been around her grandmother so much that she started to imitate her ways.
Which, one assumes, is also not all that horrible. Throughout their family, the ideals of loving, honoring, and respecting others were fostered. A family founded on Christian principles, including love and forgiveness. However, forgiveness appeared to weaken and illen everyone.
At last, they decided to alternate between playing "Onyune" and "Otjitoto". a game in which players dig twelve pockets, six rows deep, into the ground. The pebbles are used as pieces; there are two in each pocket, for a total of twenty pieces. This game has a strong connection to Mancala, which is thought to have originated in Southern Africa by scientists.
The following are the game's rules: the maximum number of participants is not limited. Each player advances to a desired role and deposits a pebble in each of the holes within the row. Once the player places their last pebble into the inner hole and there are two or more pebbles, he or she gains the opponent's seeds. The winner 'wins' once the pebbles are on the other side and there is nothing left or they are able to make a move.
Kamma questioned Unovara about where she had spent the majority of the morning while they were playing. She gave a cautious response. "I was at the bar, dearest cousin."
"How did you manage to buy this candy?"
"I showed them some of my dance moves, and they paid up."
Kamma gave another of his amusing chuckles.
"You did what?"
"Well, in the scheme of things, it is not like candy will just magically fall out of the sky."
"Yep, a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do," Peter added on
"Hey! And where have you been, Peter?" The other three asked.
"By the time morning hit and Deborah was tippy-toeing through the house, I followed soon after her and spent the morning at the kraal."
