Aashna's POV

"Honey?" I heard my mom's voice.

I immediately turned around and saw my mom standing near the window. Did I die?

"Mom?" I whispered. Tears built in my eyes. She smiled at me and opened her arms.

I got up from the bed and ran to her and hugged her tightly.

"Mom..." I sobbed. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

"Mom, how is it possible? Am I really seeing you?" I touched her face. "Am I dead?"

"Oh hush!" Mom scolded me.

"I miss you..." Tears stung my eyes again.

"I know, darling. I have been watching you. I'm so sorry, honey you went through a lot and I couldn't do anything." She was talking about, Dad.

"But I don't have much time. I---"

"No, I don't want to leave you and go." I said hugging her again.

"No matter how hard things may get but don't forget solution is just around the corner. Your solution is also just around the corner. And I'm always here for you. Be strong and..." Mom's voice started fading.

And all of a sudden I felt as if I was being pulled away from her.

"I love you, honey!" And her voice felt far away.
