"I thought I'd lose you." Lifting his head he softly kissed on my lips, all the pain vanished off my body. His lips were warm and soft. I'd missed the feel of his lips on mine. How much I missed his kisses, his hugs, his cologne and...him.
I melt into him as his fingers tangle in my hair. his arm around my waist, my hands on his chest, the pressure of his lips on mine.
He pauses for a moment, and my eyes flutter open, and he smiles, so I smile back. And then he leans in to kiss me again, sweet and feather-soft. All I can think about is his nearness, his dark eyes, his breath stirring against my skin. There is a spark in his gaze now.
"I think you should rest now." He kissed my forehead and left.
After a while, the nurse came in with food tray. I smiled at her warmly as she pressed a button on the side of the bed, which made the upper part of the bed to raise up. She placed the food tray on a small table in front of me.
It was some soup.
"This is your diet until doctor changes it. No unhealthy food." She smiled
"I can settle with this. No problem."
I was a little difficult to drink the soup since I had to use my left hand. And that's when the door slowly opened, here he is.
Sanket came and took the bowl from my hand and sat down next to me. He fed me, we had a good talk after a really long time. I took my medicines.
Few minutes later I started feeling drowsy due to the medicines.
"I'll be here by your side. Go to sleep." He caressed my cheek with the back of his hand.
