Saebyeok x OC

Four words

It was Monday morning and both Saebyeok and Nabi were dropping off their brothers to school.

As Saebyeok waved goodbye at the kids, Nabi was standing beside her taking a few calls for work. Both felt some else's presence beside them, but chose to ignore it, until

"My, my, we meet again" a female voice said, getting the attention of the two.

"I remember you. You were the one that approached me in the candy store!" The woman said enthusiastically.

After exchanging confused glances with Nabi who was still on the phone, Saebyeok replied with "Correction, You were the one who approached Me"

"Still counts" the girl muttered. "Anyways, now that we saw each other again, can you show me around town? I just moved here and i still get lost from time to time" She said while batting her eyelashes.

"Why would i?"

"Because you're the only one i know from here....and maybe we could go out sometimes, like a coffee date when you show me around" She smirked and touched Saebyeok's shoulder, who pulled away immediately.

While listening bitterly to the stranger talking to Saebyeok. Nabi felt an unusual anger bubbling in her stomach. Why is the girl laughing at everything Saebyeok says like it's the funniest thing she's ever heard? Most importantly, why am I angry? Was it because the woman's making Sae uncomfortable? Or. . .was it because I was jealous? Other than that, Nabi kept her mouth shut and continued the conversation she's having on her phone.

"What makes you think I'll agree with that?" Saebyeok said, taking glances at Nabi from time to time to make sure she was alright.

"Oh c'mon, don't fool yourself pretty. I'm sure your boyfriend won't mind, seeing as...you're all by yourself" She said, completely ignoring Nabi's existence.

"Actually" Saebyeok grabbed Nabi's shoulder then pulled the girl to her side, and wrapped her hand on Nabi's waist

"My girlfriend's here with me"

There was a beat of silence.

Nabi looked at Saebyeok in panic but decided to calm herself down and soon play along since the girl was annoying her aswell.

The woman on the other hand was glaring at Nabi and her mouth kept opening and closing like a pufferfish.

"Is there any problem?" Nabi asked when she put down the phone, earning a small smirk from Saebyeok.

"Hm, well I'm pretty sure you've heard what i said earlier. Will it be okay if me and her hang out sometimes? You know, just us" The woman said with an obvious fake grin.

'Please say no Nab' Saebyeok thought.

She looked over and saw Nabi's jaw was locked but kept a smile on her face. "If you don't mind. Can i ask when this 'hang out' between you two gonna happen?"

The girl's grin became even bigger and she replied with "Tomorrow morning will be great"

"And you said you need her help showing you around? And that's it?"

"Exactly!"

Saebyeok's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, surely Nabi wont let her. Right?

"Alright you guys have fun tom-" She paused "Oh shit....i forgot, me and my girlfriend have a flight tomorrow to visit my cousin" Nabi said with a fake pitty in her tone.

'Oh thank god'

"Damnit. How about this, i have a friend nearby who works as a tour guide! I'm sure he can help you out. That guy is very sweet and he'll be willing to show you around untill you memories the place" She was holding in a snicker when she saw all the hope and excitement vanish from the girls face.

Ofcourse, Nabi is not gonna let some random bimbo leach around her girlfriend.....well 'fake girlfriend' that is.

"There! I contacted him and he said he's free for two weeks" Nabi paused and scribbled numbers in a peice of paper "Here's his number, just incase you need it. He said he's gonna text you where he'll be picking you up"

The girl accepted the paper with the most nastiest look in the world.

Saebyeok on the other hand was very proud that Nabi managed to say a convincing lie at a short amount of time.

"Well, we have to get going now. There's a lot of things we haven't packed up yet. Good to see you though" Saebyeok said smugly.

"Bye bye" Nabi waved.

When both of them had there backs turned to the girl, Nabi immediately dropped her smile, while the other one still had her hand on Nabi's waist.

When the two finally reached the car, Saebyeok opened the door for Nabi and noticed she had a sulky look on her face.

After both of them got in the vehicle (with Saebyeok driving and Nabi on the front seat) she turned to her and said "Why the long face? You alright?"

"No"

"Why is that?"

Nabi scoffed "Show me around town my ass. That girl was completely flirting with you and also said 'i don't think your boyfriend would mind' the fuck?"

Saebyeok chuckled.

"Don't laugh at me. It's still wrong to flirt with people when you're aware they're dating somebody else"

"Good point. But why exactly are you mad?"

She was silent.

Saebyeok sighed, seeing as the girl wouldn't budge so she just continued driving. But then she heard the four words coming from Nabi's mouth making her immediately stop.

"Because I like you."

When Nabi looked at the girl in confusion, wondering why she stopped. Saebyeok slowly turned her head to her direction.

"What did you say?" She quietly asked.

Nabi rolled her eyes playfully and crossed her arms.

"I'm not repeating it" She said

"Oh c'mon......please"

"Wait..did you just say 'please'?"

"Shut up. Just say it"

Nabi laughed and leaned forward taking Saebyeok's face in her hands.

"I. Like. You." She said with a stern voice, sending millions of butterflies in Saebyeok's stomach.

"There i said it. You happy now?"

Now it was Saebyeok's turn to be silent. By the looks of it, she didn't seem to be displeased with what Nabi said.

In fact, she was more than happy to hear those words, coming from her. She was just lost for words.

"I'm gonna take that as a yes" Nabi hummed. "Now, get out of the car"

"Wait, what? Why?" Saebyeok finally snapped out of her thoughts.

"I'm driving. Since we're passing a bussy freeway later, i don't want you to get us in a car crash" Nabi said, getting a little 'fine' from Saebyeok.

"Just so you know, I'm an excellent driver" Muttered the older one.

"Oh i know. Just not in that state" Nabi smiled.

Saebyeok didn't try to argue. She just rolled her eyes playfully, knowing that the girl had a point.

It's quite short but ATLEAST SHE SAID IT.

And so you guys aren't confused, the flight thingy was a lie

But Nabi having a tour guide friend wasn't ;)
