Chapter 32

About two weeks later, Yaku and Kai got Kenma to go into the building. Of course, he needed to be supervised, but it was a big step for Kenma. It was the day after the funeral and Kenma took it surprisingly well. At the funeral they played Kenma's and Shoyo's last conversation which made everyone shed a tear. Kai was already in the building and Yaku walked with Kenma. "Are you sure you want to do this Kenma?" Yaku asked. Back at the building, everyone had a surprise for Kenma. "Yeah. I think I'll be fine." Kenma said taking in a deep breath. They continued to walk to the building. Yaku saw that Kenma was thinking about something.

"Whatcha thinking about?" Yaku said. Kenma blushed then shook his head. "C'mon tell me~" Yaku whined. Kenma pouted then sighed. "I was thinking about something Shoyo wrote." After the funeral, Kenma got to keep Shoyo's things. In a journal he saw something Shoyo wrote when they first got together at 17. 'I wonder if me and Ken Ken will have children. Well we are both guys but I don't know why I can imagine a mini version of us. With like fluffy black hair, his eyes, my energy. But since we can't have children of our own we'll definitely adopt <3 -Shoyo.' Kenma was surprised because Shoyo didn't really bring up children a lot. "He wrote about us having kids. It was... cute. Shoyo was very... imaginative when he was younger. It rubbed off on me." Kenma said with a slight smile. 

Yaku was ecstatic seeing Kenma getting better. "Rubbed off on you? How?" Yaku asked with a smile on his face. Kenma shook his head then smirked. "Well I can just imagine if I was a girl in this situation. It would've been a lot different carrying his baby during all of this." Kenma said. Yaku blushed then laughed. "I thought it was just me who thought of that. Like if I was a girl, man I most definitely have a child or children." Kenma laughed with him. They got to the building then opened the door. Kenma took a deep breath, they walked to the member room. "Kenma!!" Everyone yelled as he walked through the door. Kenma nearly fell over as everyone tried to hug him. Kenma blushed then looked at them. "Hey everyone." Everyone made sure Kenma was okay, and apologized for his loss. Everyone knew that Kuroo had killed his boyfriend. It made the team tense as nobody on the team expected that from the boss. 

Some people had significant others too so they were extra worried. "I'm fine, really, thank you though." Kenma said. Everyone backed off of him then let him change. Kenma opened his locker and realized all his guns were gone. Well, what did he really expect? He changed into his training clothes then sighed. He needed to talk to Kuroo. In the most professional way he could. And he was going to do it alone. "Alright Yaku. I'm going to go do it. If I need help, be by the door when I knock on it." Kenma said, tying up his hair. He grabbed the document he needed then walked to Kuroo's office. NK opened it then smiled. "Kenma?! Woah, I see you doing well." NK said with a warm smile on his face. "Thanks. But uh I have to talk to him sooner or later y'know." Kenma said, sighing. NK looked back then nodded. He moved out the way then left the office. Kenma walked in then locked the room behind him. 

"Kenma. I have to inform you that you've missed way too many days. One of the very important rules in this group is that you don't miss a day, unless you physically can't." Kuroo said in a firm voice. Kenma smirked, then sat across from his boss. "Well, Kuroo. I've also been informed that this group will not infer or infiltrate my personal life. But I guess we can't all have what we've been promised, huh?" Kenma said, opening the folder he had. Kuroo's eyes widened, then he looked at Kenma with a life-threatening gaze. He grabbed a gun from under his desk then pointed it at Kenma. The boy smiled then looked at Kuroo eye-to-eye. "You don't know how much I want you to pull that fucking trigger, but I know you won't." Kenma said, even if people thought he was doing better. Or it seemed he was doing good, he still wanted to end his life. He still wanted to be with Shoyo, he was always happier with Shoyo. Kuroo sighed, pointing the gun down then looked at him. "How do you know my name?" Kuroo asked with a serious tone to his voice. 

He was supposed to kill Kenma right away if he figured out his name. But he couldn't, and Kenma knew that. "What? You fucked me and killed my boyfriend, and I still don't get the right to know your name? Cold. We're not here to talk about that. We're here to talk about Karasuno." Kenma said, grabbing the paper he needed. Kuroo bit the inside of his lip and sat down. He put the gun away and looked at Kenma confused. "What about them?" Kuroo asked. In one of Shoyo's journal entries. He put something really important that Kuroo needed to know. "Listen. Today in Karasuno we discussed making an ally of an old enemy. Nekoma. We've forever been enemies of their group and we're deciding to change that. I found out that today we have a common enemy: the Shiratorizawa Mafia. We thought if we came together we could defeat them. I really hope so! -Shoyo." 

Kuroo's eyes widened as he realized what Kenma meant. Kenma picked up another paper then started reading it. "New report. Karasuno is doing a private investigation on the death of their new member. They've been linking it to their enemy Nekoma. A report from Kai." Kenma said putting both papers back in the folder then smiled. "I would advise you to think with your brain and not your heart. You broke the trust in your members. friend, and someone who thought of you as a brother, you also caused Karasuno to stop wanting to become allies. Plus, it's not like we'd go back to being fuck buddies." Kenma said, getting ready to leave. Kuroo banged his fist on the desk as he realized his fuck up. Kenma opened the door then smiled. "How'd it go?" Yaku said worried. Kenma nodded. "It went well. I think I got my point across. B-but that was too much." Kenma said hyperventilating. Yaku smiled then hugged him. "Good job Kenma. Are you ready to go home now?" Kenma nodded, then both Kai and Yaku smiled.
