Harry was not a church person.

He didn't believe in heaven, or the manuscripts, or God in general.

It's not that Louis ever minded. In fact, the older had tried to make it a point not to celebrate his religious holidays, but Harry, of course, refused to let it happen.

That's why the two lads ended up sitting in a church pew, hands close, but not touching, as pastor, or preacher, or whatever he is stood in the front talking about the rising of Jesus.

To Harry, it wasn't that big of a deal that he didn't now his head in prayer, but he had a feeling that the loud and obnoxious lady behind him was noticing his lack of attention because she kept coughing and muttering.

At the end of the ceremony, everyone put their heads down in prayer, but Harry just stared straight forward.

Suddenly, a hand clamped over the back of Harry's head and forced his head down. The lad whipped around, emerald eyes wide, as the pudgy woman narrowed her eyes right back.

"Pray, boy," she hissed just as everyone said "Amen".

Before the lady could say anything, Harry was out of the church.

Stupid judge-mental church people.

Harry had tears of anger in his eyes. He felt a hand grip his wrist and he snatched his own away, turning to shout at the woman, but finding Louis. He should've known. The hand was rather dainty.

"What's wrong?" Louis whispered, eyes already watering at his fiancé's reaction. Harry hardly ever denied Louis.

"I-I... It's not you, Bear. Don't cry," Harry begged, leaning forward to hug Louis, but the boy backed away, shaking his head.

"Okay, that's fine," Louis said, waving it off. "We have to go to the church's lunch."

Harry didn't want to go, but he lived to please Louis. So he followed.

Once in a large room in the back of the church, the two boys made plates and say down. It all went well until dessert.

Louis was giggling and he was so cute that it was just natural for Harry to smile and peck his lips.

Louis smiled widely back until a pair of familiar hands slammed on the table. "Well, well. I should've known you were a fag," the women drawled loudly.

The room grew quiet immediately at her loud voice. Everyone was looking over curiously.

Harry's eyes met Louis's quickly before they simultaneously stood up.

"I think we'll be leaving," Harry said, grabbing Louis's hand out of habit. Wrong move.

Judgmental stares watched as the two boys backed up towards the door, but the pudgy woman kept on.

"That's right, fags, run out of the church like the sinners you are!" Was the last thin the so heard before the door closed and Louis was in tears.
