Victoria's pov.

I stared at the wall confused about what I'm looking at, I looked over to Kevin, who had his eyes glued to the wall and asked, "What am I looking at?" Still not taking his eyes off the wall he said, "Please tell me you're joking, tell me you can see the words!" He finally looked away but for not even a second, when he looked back he had a defeated expression on his face, he looked at me and asked, "You honestly didn't see that?" I shook my head no, he grabbed my wrist and started walking up the stairs. Still confused I asked, "Where are we going? Are you feeling alright, maybe you should relax for a little while." He rapidly shook his head no then stated, "No way, we're getting the hell out of here right now, it's not safe."

I allowed him to guide me up the stairs, out of the house and away from where we came from, once we were pretty far away I finally stopped dead in my tracks and asked, "Okay, do you want to tell me what the hell is going on?" Before he could even answer a flash of lightning struck and from the ashes the figure of a man appeared, looked directly at Kevin and said in a deep voice, "Kevin Lloyd Everly, please step forward." He cautiously stepped toward the figure. The man looked him up and down and said, "Kevin, it's time you take your test and receive your fate." Kevin tried to look confident, but instead he just looked like a scared kitten. The two of them disappeared just as fast as the strange figure came. I knew they couldn't have gone far because there are boundaries to this place, to bad I had to find out the hard way. I just wish I knew where within this hell they are, until they come back I need a place to hide. I started walking back towards the cabin, I know he saw something that he doesn't want me to know about, but he's wrong if he thinks I won't. I finally reached the cabin after about twenty minutes, only this time something was eerily off. What was once so reject full is now inviting almost like it wants me to go inside. I decided to do a lap around the house making sure to check doors and windows as I passed, making sure there wasn't anything waiting to attack. After I was sure it was semi-safe I walked in through the front door, picked up a piece of ply wood sitting nearby. I went to check the upstairs, I got about half way up before I realized something........ there wasn't anything here the first time we were here. I slowly backed down the stairs and inched my way to the kitchen being sure to not make even the slightest noise. I slowly pulled open the door, there was a small child who had his back to me but, from his height and structure he looked about five. I was just about to tap the child's shoulder when he snapped around, furiously. I jumped back in surprise, knocking over a glass vase. I scooted back quickly and the child said in a sinister voice, "Mother will be home soon, mother won't be happy." He grinned mischievously then turned back around slowly rocking back and forth while lightly chanting, "She's coming, time die, she's coming time to die...." He kept repeatedly doing it, the longer I stood there the faster and louder he chanted. I went back out to the living room and just waited for a moment, once I was positive that the chanting had stopped I let out a relieved sigh, but was startled by an invisible force tugging on my wrist trying to drag me out of the house, making me leave.
