Gray...

It's the only color she sees. A world devoid of life. For her those of humans who have foul stench only exist.

"Kill him for me my dear." A man whispered to her. In a daze, the girl raised her sword. Dashed across the deserted meadow and decapitated the target person. Her silver hair drenched in mud. Her once bright golden eyes now devoid of life.

"Good girl! Listening so well to your master." The man smirked. Caressing the girls hair. "It's a good thing that you're under my control. If I hadn't done that, I for sure know you'll die my love, everything that I do is just for you so you better be grateful and listen to me quietly." The man grinned sadistically.

The girl who stands as still as a rock continued to stay silent. The people behind the man snickered.

'Yes, she is nothing more but a mere puppet. Continue to stay like that and give us many fortunes.' The men all think. Unbeknownst to her, those whom she killed are not those who have a vile stench, however, her not being able to control herself knew nothing about it.

Laplace

An organization known for their smart tactics. Those members are known for their brilliance in magic and are usually hired by people who needed help with mind manipulation, mana poisoning, and mana explosion.

"Please help us! We beg of you!" Said one of the villagers.

The man only stared at the man. Laplace may be an organization who specializes in mana by they did not do it for free.

'After all, in a world where almost everything is destroyed, I highly doubt that there is a free service' The man thought, leaning on his chair staring lazily at the man.

"I'll pay whatever so please! Help us!" The man full of tears begged once again.

"How can I be assured that you'll be able to pay?" The man smirked.

The villager scrumbled to remove the satchel that was attached to his side and lightly place it on the man's table.

"This is my village's treasure for many years before those thugs decided to kill everyone in my village. I will be more than willing to pay it to you so please help us!" The villager returned to his kneeling posture. The man raised his eyebrows and decided to look at the satchel.

"Hooooo~ not bad~" The man said.
"So, what do you need Laplace for?" The man smiled at the villager. The latter delighted by the man's words began to tell the story of a certain silver haired girl.

"Well isn't this interesting?" The man's subordinate said peaking down from a rundown building not too far from their target.

He watch as his friend got dragged by the thugs inside the building, a silver haired girl tailing behind. The girl who sensed his presence stared at the building, both of them have made an eye contact with each other however, the girl did not make any move and deviate her eyes to the front.

The man smirked and walked away. "Get ready." The men in the background all nod and disappeared.
