WHAT HAD JUST HAPPEN???

This book idea came from my one shot I made in my book of one shots of Zhuiling.

I decided to make it a book as it can have many details and more.

3rd POV

The day started normally as it can get in the cultivation world. This day in specific was a special day for a certain young Sect leader of the Lanling Jin Clan.

Today is the first day in months, he will be able to spend time with his betrothed, his fiance.

He had worked for a week straight without sleep to be able to have at least 2 days without doing anything just so that he could be with Lan Yuan courtesy name Sizhui, his beloved fiance.

Jin Ling woke up pretty early as he wanted to be at Gusu before lunch. He got ready, and packed some robes for his stay in the Lan Sect.

Jin Ling walked to the dining room as workers were making breakfast. There he saw his adviser with her family.

"Good morning Jin Ling"

He was greeted by Luo Qingyang or as he call her, auntie Mianmian. He smiled at her and replied to her greeting.

"Good morning"

"Excited for today?" Auntie Mianmian asked him which he replied with a big smile on his face while nodding.

He walk towards a young girl who was sitting next to her father.

"Little Mianmian, are you not going to say hi to Ling-ge?" Jin Ling asked with a pout directly at the young girl, who was busy eating.

Luo Qingyang giggled at the scene and little Mianmian who had not notice his Ling-ge, jump to his arms as he catched her.

"Ling-ge, Ling-ge!" She said excited but suddenly her face became serious.

"Is it true that your leaving?"

Jin Ling looked a bit sad at her and replied "Yes Ling-ge will visit Yuan-ge. Is that okay?"

"Yes, you should spend time with Yuan-ge. Give him many kisses!"

At her excitement saying that made Jin Ling blush a lot. He could heard a few chuckles from his aunt and her husband but he didn't mind it.

"Okay, okay. First Mianmian has to finish eating while you, Jin Ling have to eat properly before traveling to Gusu got it"

At that he nodded towards his aunt and passed little Mianmian towards her dad who smiled at him as greetings and he replied with the same action.

While he started to eat, he started to think back when Wei Wuxian, his Da-jiu had introduced them to him.

The people who he quickly became a family with after his two uncles. Luo Qingyang had been a disciple close to his father before leaving the Sect as she believed Wei Wuxian over the things the Jin Sect had been doing.

She quickly became like a mother to him, the same one who he sadly never had even though no one would replace his mother. But she also became the person she most trusted with leaving his sect with.

As he was leaving for a few days, she will take the burden out of his hand so that he had time to spend his fiance.

Truth be told, he was going to miss them. More little Mianmian as she had grown to be like a little sister to him. And if in the future she becomes a Jin disciple, he will ask her to be his heir.

Before deciding heir thought, he will have to ask one, his aunt and two, Lan Yuan as he will be his husband and so he had to have a say in every decision in the Sect.

After breakfast, he was departing to Gusu as little Mianmian had come to say goodbye.

"I can trust you to take care of fairy right?" Jin Ling said in a serious voice and a serious look directed at little Mianmian.

"Yes Ling-ge" replied little Mianmian in the same serious voice and face.

"Good" he said then turn to her father and said "Goodbye uncle"

"Goodbye Jin Rulan"

Jin Ling wanted to roll his eyes but didn't, even if they grown familiar with him. His aunt's husband had always called either his courtesy name or his title as Sect leader.

"And goodbye little Mianmian" he smiled at the cute little girl who smiled back.

"Bye, bye Ling-ge"

With that he left on his sword on his way to Gusu. His aunt did not came to say goodbye as she had things of the Sect to deal with. Nothing that didn't need Jin Ling to be present for but still work for the Sect. He will miss them at his stay away.

How do you like this chapter?

I don't know about you guys but somewhere I read a fanfic maybe about Wei Wuxian introducing Jin Ling and Mianmian so yeah little head canon I really like.
