3rd POV

"Jiu-jiu?!" Jin Ling called as his uncle froze up and was in that state for more than a minute by now.

"He-how!? What happen then!?" Jiang Cheng abruptly asked as he fell out his frozen state.

"Calm down Jiu-jiu!" Jin Ling couldn't help to say as he was shocked at that.

"What happen then, Jin Ling?!" He asked again but this time in a threatening voice which he didn't normally used except when he wanted to know something.

"I-- Well--"

"Spit it up" Jiang Cheng said as his nephew didn't talked.

"Wen Ning and Wen Qing surrounded themselves to make and prove Da-jiu innocent but---"

"But what!"

"But they- no my grandfather lied and still tried to make Da-jiu the enemy, Wen Ning and Wen Qing were burned alive except Wen Ning wasn't. Da-jiu fought to make them stay at the burial grounds to be safe but Wen Qing stuck a needle to his neck and caused him to be paralyzed while they gave themselves up"

"So they wanted to save him?" Jiang Wayin was bewildered at that but also grateful to them to try to do that even if they couldn't do it at the end.

"Yes, they said their goodbyes and thank you while Da-jiu couldn't do anything except to scream at them to not do it" Jin Ling finalized as he took a breath.

"How do you know, if I know my brother he would have never told anyone that?!" The sect leader asked, Wei Wuxian never told his worries or problems to anyone. Not even to Jiang Yanli, who Jiang Cheng thought was the closest to him.

"Da-jiu did empathy with me-"

"What! Doesn't he know that's freaking dangerous and you let him go through th--"

"He wanted me to see A-niang as I never knew her..."

There was a silence that followed after that. The Sect leader was now reminded that not only his older brother dies but his older sister who is a mother also died.

"He didn't think, I was going to see everything but I did..." Jin Ling said as he looked away as just the thought brings tears to his eyes, to be remember those many horrible memories. Worse to think that it was that his Da-jiu that when through them.

"You saw everything...?" Jiang Cheng asked softly.

"Mhm"

A silence once again fell in the room as Jiang Cheng was thinking about the thought of being able to see what his brother went through in that other life.

Jin Ling sighed and decides to continue where he left off.

"In the funeral of A-Die, my grandfather told the many cultivators and clans. Jiang included that they were going to go against Da-jiu."

Jiang Cheng could only stares at his nephew who saw this and decided to just go on with the story.

"Da-jiu was there, he wanted to get revenge on them all for killing the Wen siblings. Soon after that an unknown cultivator attacked Da-jiu with an arrow which started the fight..."

There was again a silence but the sect leader after a few seconds clear his throat.

"So he didn't start the fight?"

"No he didn't. After that there was a fight of cultivators against the fierce corpses that Da-jiu controlled."

Jiang Cheng stayed silent as his nephew continue when suddenly a thought came to him.

"How can he do empathy with you if he died?!" He was confused at that, how can his nephew also know him as Da-jiu since he has never met him, or did he?

"I-- I'll explain that later Jiu-jiu" Jin Ling said as a response which Jiang Cheng only nodded as the other continue.

"A-niang came to the field, where the fighting was..." Jin Ling stopped for a second to let that sink in to his Jiu-jiu.

Jiang Wayin just remain silent. As he fought different thoughts in his head.

'A-jie had gone there to say he didn't blame Wei Wuxian. She went directly to danger for her brother'

He knew that if the places were switched, Jiang Yanli could still do the same as he knows that as soon as his nephew said that, his sister died there.

"Wei Wuxian stopped the fighting and reach to A-niang but not before a corpse hurt her."

Jin Ling let out a sigh, he doesn't like telling this story but to know everything in this new world he guesses, he at least would have his Jiu-jiu.

"You also reach to her and asked why didn't Da-jiu control the corpses to not hurt her but he told he didn't know why they weren't listening. But at the same time A-niang tried to tell Da-jiu that she didn't blame him but a cultivator was behind Da-jiu to kill him so..."

Jin Ling voice became shaky and almost broke at the end. Jiang Cheng knew what or just assumed what happen next.

"So she sacrificed herself for him..."

Jin Ling heard and just nodded in response. Jin Ling saw his uncle take a shaky breath as he looked really lost of everything.

"Jiu-jiu?" Jin Ling couldn't help to ask. In which the response was a shaking of Jiang Cheng's head. Jin Ling didn't what what the other would saw or how he was going to react.

"How does he die?" Was the question the sect leader instead let out.

Jin Ling looked at him and realized that if he tells him the truth, he will blamed himself over and over again as he did in his world after he finally let his anger out. His uncle from his world blamed himself and could hardly look at his brother after he knew what he had done. At least there he eventually forgive himself or so Jin Ling thinks as the two broken brothers became brothers once again.

He still always beat himself up as he didn't honored both his sister's sacrificed and he killing his older brother. Jin Ling always tried to help in any way but at times even he couldn't help so he was glad Nie Huiasang was there for his Da-jiu.

"Jin Ling!?" He said asking and begging with his eyes to know. To know how his older brother died. Jin Ling could only sigh.

"A siege to the burial grounds..."

"Who lead it?!" Jiang Cheng demanded to know who did it as make such atrocious thing as to kill his----

"You lead it Jiu-jiu..."

Everything crash down for the Sect leader.
