A figure popped out of nowhere, lying on the damp grass, he slowly opens his eyes. The place he was in is dark. Even with a blurry vision, he could tell that this was an unfamiliar place. He sat up trying to look around just to meet a pounding headache. He clutched his head, trying to get his vision back to normal.
"Ugh, what happened...?" Michael thought as his eyes trailed around his surroundings. Out of all places, he did not think he'd end up in a dark forest.
Trees grew so close to each other that there were close to no path leading out of the forest. The foliage was blocking out the sky, as sunlight tried to creep through the gaps. There weren't any flowers, unless you count in the withered ones. Without sunlight, there's close to no other living things than the trees and bushes.
"How did I end up here" He wondered out loud. Just then, the memories came back to him in a flash. Charlie. Charlie pushed him into the Nether portal, and instead of ending up in hell, he was sent to this creepy forest. Michael sighed and grumbled, "Just wait until I get my hands on that little idiot."
He then heard a voice — Ennard.
"Eggs, what happened", he asked, "and where are we?"
Michael was wondering the same thing. He knew that they were in a forest, but where? These happenings are defying the laws of physics, not saying that alive dead people aren't.
"We are in a forest- " Michael began. "But I have no idea which one we are in..."
"Are there any exotic butters? I'm hungry." Ennard interrupted.
"Sorry Ennard, no butter here."
"Aww!"
"Stop whining!"
"FINE!"
Michael got up to explore the forest as he decided arguing with Ennard wasn't going to get them anywhere. He doesn't particularly want to spend his life in a dark, eerie forest. You can't even tell the time here for goodness sake! Is it morning? Or was it night. He couldn't tell.
As Michael ventured deeper into the forest, squeezing through the trees, he tried to ignore the prickly feeling on his neck. This place was already giving him goosebumps. He couldn't help but feel that there was something wrong with this place but shrugged it off. Probably paranoia. Sadly, it was quite difficult to do so when you are in a forest with an eerie aura surrounding it.
He did not see the pair of eyes staring at him.
The forest seemed to be endless. He's been walking for hours and there's just more and more trees. Not to mention that he had been tripping over tree roots, rocks and vines for countless of times.
Maybe this is hell. An infinity forest.
That was before he heard rustling in the bushes. He squinted at the trees. It's not like he's going to see anything even if he tried, so why bother? Michael was about to dismiss it until he heard noises again.
"Who's there." He yelled, trying his best to sound intimidating but failing.
Footsteps. The noise this time was the unmistakable sound of footsteps. As the noise echoed through the forest, he felt a shiver sent down his spine, his imaginary heart was beating faster as it continued towards him. Michael frantically looked around, trying to find the direction of the noise.
"Hey Mikey, there is someone hiding behind the trees to your right."
With this newly gained information from Ennard, he threw one last glance behind him, and took off running in the opposite direction.
Whoever was following him started running after him. Michael wasn't getting tired anytime soon for he lacked organs. The fact that the mysterious stalker was picking up speed instead of getting tired was concerning. He was hoping to outrun him in terms of agility.
For the past hour, he's been swerving through the trees like a madman, and jumped over rivers. It hasn't helped a single bit. Michael might be a great runner, but he's no fighter. All he can do is to outrun him before he trips over some rock. After all, he can still feel pain.

Eyeless Jack, or better known as E.J, hid in the shadows. He was spending his free time, searching for victims who were foolish enough to step into Slenderman's forest. It has been a while since he found anyone here, which he doesn't know if it's a good thing or not. E.J is getting desperate for kidneys, and he doesn't feel like leaving the forest. He vowed to not let a single soul leave the forest, not on his watch.
While searching, E.J saw a man standing alone in the forest. As he was about to attack him, he thought better. The man seemed interesting anyways, why not let him cherish his last moments before he has his organs ripped out of him. The man looked like he was in his twenties or thirties. He couldn't care less about it. Although there is something queer about him, his skin looks...slightly rotten. It must be the light playing tricks on him.
As he continued to walk, E.J trailed after the man. He kept muttering to himself, and sometimes yelled. Really, E.J was starting to think he's mad.
After sometime, he was getting bored. All E.J has been doing is following him and it hasn't got him anywhere. As he was about to jump at him, to end both the other's suffering and his own, the man took off running. How did he know he was being followed? E.J barely made a sound. Acting on instinct, E.J ran after him, going as fast as he could. He knew the other was going to tire himself out eventually, one way or another.
They have been at it for hours, it seemed like it could go on for days. It's down to who makes the first mistakes loses. E.J couldn't believe that the man could run for so long. Is he even human? He'll be sure to rethink that another day. Never in his life have he ever chased after a stupid mortal for so long.
As soon as he saw him stumble a little, E.J pounced on him like a wild animal. He stabbed the part where the kidney was supposed to be, but the flesh felt really hard... Wait, it's not flesh?! A weird jumbled robot wriggled out of his injury. Before E.J could recover from shock, the robot screamed at him. He covered his ears as the scream pierced and echoed in his mind.
