Chapter 3

13 year old V  POV

I'm sick of this life. I don't want to stuck in an orphanage, I wanna make my career as a famous idol. Staying here is not going to work out for me so I need to go and find out the truth everyone has been hiding from me.

The clock struck midnight as I snuck out  the orphanage. I hid behind bushes making them rustle. Then I heard someone's voice; it was the guard. I hid myself quickly behind a wall. "Who's there?" he shouts out. After hearing no response he goes back, locks the gate and leaves. That just made it harder to escape.

I come out of my hiding spot and go near the gate. The gate was pretty tall but being an orphan has its traits.

I climbed up the gate using my flesh memories from when I climbed up several tall trees. The next thing I knew, I was out of there. "I did it."

I stopped in my tracks when reality hit me hard. I can't go back, but where do I live?

I almost turned around when "What is a kid like you doing out here? Come inside before it gets too dark." It was an old lady calling out to me. I sighed in relief.

She pulled me in and gave me some warm clothes. She then made me sit on a couch and sat in front of me.

"What were you doing out there? I've never seen you around before."

Should I tell her? "My n-name is Kim V and I-I have been in an orphanage since I remember. I never wanted to live there as I've always wanted to become an idol but I couldn't leave till I was adopted."

She looked at me with pitiful eyes. "You could live with me V dear. I may me able to find you a good school too."

"No I can't ask that from you, it would be too much."

She just looked at me with a smile. I sighed and nodded, agreeing to her. "Let me take you to your room."

I started to notice her house more. She had a lot of rooms, a huge kitchen. Her house was bigger than my love life. (A/N: what? I didn't say anything)

She led me to my room and gave me some necessary items. "Goodnight sweetie, sleep well."

19 year old V POV

 It had been a few years since I had been living with grandma. I go to a pretty good school and I have learnt a lot about it.

"V! Could you come here quickly, I have some good news for you!"

"What is it?" I go up to her. She passes me a letter. I tear up and hug her tightly as she hugs me back. "Thank you so much!" It was the form for the audition at a company named Big Hit Entertainment. "You're welcome sweetie, now go on and practice singing till I make us dinner."

I was very happy that day.

It was my dream to become an idol since a group had performed for the charity event for the orphanage.

A Few Days Later

I woke just in time to get ready for school. I was walking towards my locker when my best friend Jimin, ran up to me. "V! Guess what? I just got in the auditions for the new group at Big Hit Entertainment.

I turned to look at him in shock. "Same!" I shouted loudly. He stared at me with happiness. he jumped on me and hugged me tightly. "I can't believe it, we're in auditions together."

"Ok, I know you're excited- but I can't bre-athe."

"Oh, right." he got off of me and we went to class, talking excitedly. 

I was nervously waiting for my audition results to come out when a lady walked in with a paper.

We are pleased to say that you are one of our newest trainee here.

We finalize your acceptance here as a member to our newest group

I ran out the building and saw Jimin waiting for me with a big smile on his face. "You got in?" I asked and he nodded. "I did too!"

I go home and show grandma my acceptance letter. She got emotional and cried a bit but she was very proud of me. I felt sad I was going to leave her but she assured that she would be fine. I got to packing my stuff and went to my very bright future with Jimin by my side.

We walked into the building and we were called to meet all the members of our group.

They were:

Kim Namjoon- our new leader

Kim Seokjin- the eldest

Min Yoongi- he looked really tired 

Jung Hoseok- he was the complete opposite of Yoongi

and

Jeon Jungguk- the youngest, he was really quiet and kept to himself

He was the one who intrigued me when I first walked into the room where all the members were seated.

We were told all the rules and sleeping arrangements. And guess who I was paired up with? Jungguk.

They gave us our own keys and we went back to doing our own thing. I saw Jungguk go to our room really early. I guessed he was just shy and wanted some time to himself.

It had been a while and we were called for dinner but Jungguk didn't show up. I was worried but I let it slide. It was fun knowing the members and I wanted to talk more but I was really tired so I went to mine and Jungguks's shared room.

But when I opened the door, I saw something that shocked me-
