Chapter 8

He pulls away from shock and turns around to leave. I hold his hand and pull him back not wanting him to.

He looks down at our hands blushing heavily.

I walk ahead, my hand still in his.

"It's amazing! You all did a very good job for your debut." The director says at the end of the music video we watched.

Bright smiles shine around the whole room as we congratulate each other.

The song was composed in only a few but it turned out better than I thought it would. Jungguk was too shy to talk to me.

It was nighttime and everyone were told to sleep.

I went and sat on the bed and as much as I wanted to sleep, I had to talk to Jungguk about what happened before today.

He walked in the room and I look at him. "Gguk, come here." I call him near me. He hesitantly sits next to me and looks down.

I lift his chin up. "Hey, there's nothing to be shy or embarrassed of." He frowns. "But won't the others get mad?" He asks.

"Maybe they don't have to know just yet." I tell him.

"But-"

"Gguk, did you mean that kiss or whatever you want to call it."

He bit his lip and nodded his head. I smile.

"Do you like me?"

He nods again.

"I'm sorry if you don't feel the same way I wasn't in my right mind-"

"Who said I don't feel the same? I like you too. I felt weird everytime you called me hyung. I've always wanted to be more than your hyung."

"So you really like me?"

"Of course, I like you a lot!"

That night, he slept in my arms and me, feeling the happiest.

The Next Day

Jungguk POV

I wake up early today, and find V sleeping beside me.

I stare at him admiring his features. Out of nowhere, he pulls me close making me yelp.

"Good morning hyung, you scared me."

"Goodmorning Gguk, you were the one staring at me." He said in his morning voice.

"Wake up, I'm bored." I say. He groans. "Isn't it the day off?"

"Day off from work, not me." I pout and pull him up. I drag him downstairs in the lawn outside.

I stare in shock as he fell asleep standing up. I go find the nearest hose and turn the tap on. Smirking, I go to him and spray the water coming out of it.

"Jeon Jungguk! Come back here! Why would you do that to my sleep?" He babbles while chasing me.

"You're the one that sleeps while standing up. I had to take the opportunity!" I stick my tongue out at him.

"What if we go look for your twin right now?" He says, even though he's shivering with cold from the water.

"We can, but we should probably go change first." I look at our wet clothes. I was more wet than he was.

All of a sudden, he carries me and walks towards the building. "Hyung, put me down. What if someone sees us?" I try to free myself from his grip.

"Stop moving around, you'll fall." He says, unbothered about my concern. "Are you even listening to me?"

"Nope"

I sigh in defeat and let him carry me peacefully.

We wear protective clothes and try to find a way to sneak out. "Where are you two going?" Jimin hyung asks us. He was fully dressed up. Wasn't it a day off?

"Huh? Nowhere." I reply.

"Ok I'll believe that. Are you going to look for him again?"

"Yes."

"I'm coming." He says walking back to his room.

"You don't have to-"

"I am coming"

"We looked everywhere Gguk, we couldn't find him there." V hyung says running back from looking

"Are you sure?" I asked in the verge of crying.

"Yes, there was no one looking like you there."

I burst into tears. He hugs me. "Let's not give up okay?" He says and pecks my forehead.

"No sign of him Jungguk." Jimin comes from behind.

This went on for months

"I give up! It's hopeless. I'm sorry for wasting all your time on me." I say finally, sick of getting a negative result everytime.

I dashed upstairs and started crying my heart out.

"Gguk, honey please don't cry." V hyung hugs me. "I'll never be able to see him. Why is life so unfair?"

He lifts up my chin and I look at him. "I know, giving up is hard for you. After all you've been through, I don't think you deserve this. Now only destiny can surprise you with exactly what you need."

I wipe my tears and smile at his words. He slowly leans in and kisses me. I felt butterflies in my stomach as I kissed him back with my love towards him.

We pull away and he cuddles me making all my stress go away. I felt light-headed and happy being in his arms.

My vision got blurry as I felt sleepy. "You finding your twin is meant to happen, never forget that." It was the last thing I heard before darkness took over me and I fell asleep. Safer than ever.
