Chapter 6

Third Person POV

Mrs. Kim was sitting on a park bench feeling sad. It was the 30th of December, her children's birthday. As she was looking around, she saw a woman looking happy but there were tears in her eyes.

She then walked up to Mrs. Kim. "Hello, do you mind if I sit here?" she asked her. Mrs. Kim just nods and the woman sits here. "What's wrong?" she asks.

"It's all my fault. I blindly listened to my father and just gave away my twins because I thought they will soon forget about each other. One of them was sent to an orphanage-" Mrs. Kim was cut off. "Did you say twins? I had twins too. I couldn't protect the form my husband and so they were taken. Years later I'm finally divorced."

"Is that why you came here looking so happy?"

"I guess..."

Soon Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Jeon started talking a lot about their familiar events of having twins.

At Jungkook's House

Jungkook POV

I woke up and looked to my side to see Taehyung sleeping beside me. He had spent the night over because I wanted him to. I smiled and got up but a hand wrapped around my waist stopping me from getting away. "Don't go" he mumbled.

After a while he fell asleep and I got ready for the big day. Yes, I knew it was his birthday so I got some decorations and went to the park where we first met. I set up the decorations and bought a cake.

I went back home to wake Tae up but he was already awake, making breakfast. "Hey Kookie, where were you?"

"Oh nowhere, what are you making?"

"That's a secret, I just wanted to show you how good I was at cooking"

"And you chose today?"

"Yeah cause today is-" he was cutoff by a phone call and went to got pick it up. This was my chance. I quickly plated his breakfast, ate mine and took out a note from my pocket.

"Wear your best clothes and meet me at the park where we first met" :)

I left a few other notes along the road and waited for him.

I saw Tae's silhouette fading in. I kept the cake on a table I set up and ran towards him. He looked at me in shock and I ran up to hm and jumped in his arms. "Happy Birthday Taetae!!"

"Thank you Kookie, what's all of this for?"

"For always being there for me."

He pecks my nose and I turn pink. I get off him and go to light the candles on his cake. "Make a wish and blow out the candles." I smile and say.

He blows the candles and we eat the cake. We take pictures and an hour later, as I was about to take out the decorations, a gust of wind blows across my face making me shiver. Clouds were forming in the sky and it got colder.

As we were about to leave we see two ladies struggling in the wind. We go towards them to help. "Would you like some help? I ask as Taehyung follows behind.

"Yes please"

"What is your name?" One of the lady asks Taehyung. "My name is Taehyung, Kim Taehyung." She froze in her spot. "What?" she looked at him deep in the eyes.

"And your parents?"

"They abandoned me and my twin and I don't know wh-" he was interrupted. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed hugging Tae as hard as she could. Tae widened his eyes in shock and confusion. "W-what?" he asked.

"Tae, I should've never separated you two I don't know why I did that. I thought V will never remember you but he still had a chance. You both had a chance."

Her and Tae's tears welled up in their eyes. "Eomma, why?" he cried in her her arms as she muttered apologies in his ear.

"I won't ever leave you now." she smiled.

I lean towards a side and the next thing that happens shocks me.

My necklace magnetically attaches itself to the other woman's necklace. I widen my eyes trying to take it out but it doesn't work. Then she tries and removes it easily. She then examines my face and smiles happily. 

"You have no idea how much I missed you Jungkookie."

"Huh?"

"The necklace, you still wore it and before you ask why you and your twin weren't with me, let me explain. Let's all go to my house."

I suddenly felt weak in the knees and couldn't move. Tae comes towards me and picks me up. I start crying in his embrace as he rocks me back and forth.

"Is she really my mom Tae?"

"I don't know but all I care is about how you feel. Are you happy you met her?"

"Yes, even though I'm not so sure she's my mother."

This had been the most weirdest day of our lives
