Alya was excited, nervous, scared, happy and hungry. She had many emotions stirring before that first step that started the ceremony that she and her fiancé had been planning for two years. Her best friend was surprised how Alya wasn’t second-guessing herself. She had been with Nino for six years. Four of which she completed her Bachelor’s in Journalism.

Nino was waiting for his bride to step through the Church’s doors. The music started and Alya was dressed in a beautiful wedding dress designed by her best friend, Marinette. She also designed Nino’s outfit. His forest green suit jacket with orange trim complemented the orange and green theme of the ceremony. While he also had a pin on his left shoulder to match his future wife’s bouquet of tiger lilies.

First, the wedding party went through. Marinette was the Maid of honor and was a partner with the best man who of course was Adrien.   They had a fight previous to the wedding but they treated each other respectively for their best friends. Alya’s sisters were also part of the wedding partnered up with some of Nino’s work friends. Which were famous musicians or DJs like himself.

Last was the moment that Nino had been waiting for ever since he decided that she was the one. Alya took a step and winked to her future husband on the other end of the isle.

He was too stunned with her beauty to wink back. Alya didn’t believe about the bad luck of a groom seeing his wife before the wedding or seeing the dress before the wedding. But Nino had never seen the dress on her.

When Nino first saw it he was uncomfortable with that fact it wasn’t a traditional all white wedding dress but at this moment he was glad she was wearing it. The dress was perfectly fitted to her body shape while he bottom flowed out elegantly. She was accompanied by her father down he isle. Tears in his eyes. He may have four daughters but all of them will always be his babygirl.

“Love you, dad.” Alya said before kissing him on the cheek. He handed his daughter over to Nino who was now the luckiest man in the world. Otis never practically liked Nino since he was a professional DJ soon to be music producer.

The crowd sat back down according to Officiant Thomas Astruc’s orders. Alya handed her bouquet to Marinette so it wouldn’t get in the way. Nino took Alya’s hands and held them in his.

“Welcome, family, friends and loved ones. We are gathered here today to celebrate the wedding of Alya and Nino. You have come here from nearby and far away to share in this commitment now they make to one another, to offer your love and support to their union, and to allow Alya and Nino to start their married life together surrounded by the people dearest and most important to them.

Alya and Nino thank you for your presence here today. They ask for your blessing, encouragement, and lifelong support, for their decision to be married. They also remember other loved ones who cannot be here to share this moment with them today. Those people too, they hold this couple dear in their hearts.

Alya and Nino, marriage is the promise between two people who love each other, who trust that love, who honor one another as individuals in that togetherness, and who wish to spend the res of their lives together. It enables the two separate souls to share their desires, longings, dreams, and memories, their joys and sorrows, and  to help each other through all uncertainties of life. a strong marriage also nurtures each of you as separate individuals and allows you to maintain your unique identity and grow in your own way through the years ahead. It is a safe haven for each of you to become your best self while together you become better than ever could be alone.

You are adding to your life not only the affection of each other, but also the companionship and blessing of a deep trust. You are agreeing to share strength, responsibilities and love. To make this relationship work, therefore, takes more than love. It takes trust, to know in your hearts that you want only the best for each other. It takes dedication, to stay open to one another, to learn and grow, even when it is difficult to do so. And it takes faith, to go forward together without knowing what the future holds for you both.

Alya and Nino, this is the part I would tell you to hold hands but it seems you two have already beaten me to it.” The crowd briefly laughed at the Officiant’s joke.
