Y/n Pov:
I started packing my bags, ready to leave for Germany, the place where we knew Loki would be. I packed multiple suitcase full of the clothes and said goodbye to all the Avengers."Seeya Cap." I said, saluting to him jokingly. "Well, I'll see you tonight. Don't go too hard on me." He said as he ruffled my hair.
The last person I said goodbye to was Tony. I gave him the biggest hug ever and my face was nuzzled into his chest. "I'll miss you dad." I said. He kissed the top of my forehead. "I'll miss you more. Now remember, don't get attached."
"I won't." I called over my shoulder as I went into the private jet.
I decided to get changed on the plane. Because it was a fancy place that Loki was attacking from, I had to get dressed up.
You wear this^
But I needed to seem edgy and kind of out of place so you threw on a leather jacket over the top. Much better. I thought to myself.
*Time skip to Loki's attack coz I'm lazy and can't be bothered writing the plane trip*
I stood in the courtyard as the chaos unfolded around me. People were running around screaming, trying to get away from Loki. But there were multiple copies of him, making it impossible to get out.
"KNEEL!" Loki yelled over all the commotion. Everyone froze and obeyed, terrified of what might happen if they didn't. Everyone obeyed, except me.
Loki noticed this and came through the crowd towards me. He walked forward, filled with purpose. Glorious purpose.
"Well well well. What do we have here?" Loki said as he stood right in front of me. "Why aren't you kneeling, love?" He asked in a silky smooth voice that was filled with cunning and threat. "Because you should be kneeling for me, love." I replied, spitting out the last word. "You've got some fire in you. What's your name, mortal?"
"Y/n." I replied. "Y/n... Y/n what?" Loki asked. I took a deep breath. "Stark. My name is
Y/n Stark.""A Stark? Come to stop my plan? Did daddy send you?" He said, looking me up and down.
"Work for my dad? Please! I don't even talk to my dad. Trust me, I hate him just as much as you do." I said tossing my hair. Loki looked taken aback. He opened his mouth to speak but closed it, looking at me with some sort of wonder. We just stood there, looking at each other, until someone stood up. Loki whipped around and pointed his sceptre at the poor man.
"You dare disobey my orders?!!! Any last words, mortal?" He asked the man. The old man just looked at Loki, terrified that he might say the wrong thing. Loki laughed at the man's pathetic face and shot a blue beam from his sceptre, right to the man's chest.
But instead of the scream of agony and the sizzling I thought I'd hear, the beam reflected off something and bounced back towards Loki, making both of us duck. "Shit!" I said, out of shock.
"Language." A familiar voice said. I looked up and saw Captain America holding his shield.
So that's what made the beam bounce back. I thought to myself.
I pressed a button on my watch which made my suit form over my body. "Hey Cap, remember me?" I said, mockingly. "Y/n? Why are you working with Loki?" Captain America said, acting shocked. I've got to admit, his acting skills were on point. "I'm not working with anyone. We just happened to be at the same place at the same time. Anyway, I don't need to explain myself to you." I said as I stole his shield using my witchcraft.
He came running at me but I dodged him and struck him with one of my less powerful spells. Cap came at me again and I let him take the shield this time. He knocked me to the side, being careful to make it look like he was trying to, but not actually, hurting me. Then he advanced on Loki.
This was my chance to get on Loki's good side. While Cap stood over Loki, about to strike a painful blow, I used another one of my less powerful spells and shot him to the side. Loki looked up at me. "I didn't need your help." He said, getting up. "Seems like you did." I said, rolling my eyes.
Then I advanced on Cap and gave a few hard, but not painful, blows. "I'll let you go this time. Take this as a warning." I said, towering over Cap on the floor. He looked up, punched me, and retreated back to the helicopter he came from.
"You good?" I asked Loki after Cap had left. By this time, everyone had left the scene. "I had that perfectly fine." Loki announced, trying to maintain what little dignity he had left. "Sure you did, Loki." I said as I pressed my watch again, making me change back into my other clothes.
"So your really not with the Avengers anymore." Loki said in disbelief. I scoffed. "Yeah. You didn't believe me?" I asked in mock horror. Now it was Loki's turn to scoff.
"Well, imma retreat for the night. Bye Loki." I said as I grabbed my suitcases and proceeded to walk away. "Hang on." Loki said, grabbing my wrist. "Why don't you and me... Work together. If you truly hate your dad and the Avengers as much as I do, we'll be a force to be reckoned with. Especially with our powers. What do you say? Allies?" He said, extending a hand.
Yes! Everything was going according to plan. But I couldn't look excited. I smirked. "Ok Loki of Asgard," I said, extending my hand. "You've got yourself a deal." I grabbed his hand and shook it firmly.
Perfect.
Author's note:
I have been quite quick to write the chapters but that is only because I have nothing better to do because it's the school holidays. But this might change and the chapters might come out slower because of Christmas and some stuff I have on after Christmas. Hope you enjoy the rest of the story if you stick around until the end.
