Kaboom
Word Count: 625

The ground shook and plaster fell from the ceilings.  You jumped as some landed in front of you. You sighed and shook your head; Deidara was in a mood – again.  You continued down the hall and out to the main room, where you found Tobi cowering under a table.
“[Name]- senpai!” Tobi squealed, “Deidara–senpai threatened to blow Tobi up!” You just rolled your eyes at the man-child.
“And? When doesn’t he? You should know to not bug him by now, Tobi, especially when he’s in a mood like today,” you scolded, glaring at him.  Tobi sniffed and his visible eye was glassy.
        “But Deidara-senpai isn’t in a mood! Dei-senpai is sad!”
        “And? Why should I care?”
“Because – it was [Name]-senpai that made Deidara-senpai sad!” whined Tobi; a pain went through your chest. Crouching to Tobi’s level, you looked him in the eye.
“What are you talking about?” you demanded. Tobi hid his eye and started bawling his eyes out.  You obviously weren’t going to get an answer out of him. You sighed and stood, deciding to hunt down the emotionally unstable Barbie.
As you hunted for Deidara, the shaking got worse.  That meant that he was getting to the peak of his anger or sadness or mood or whatever the hell it was.  You found him out in the forest about two miles away from the hide out.  He looked slightly charred and pissed as fuck.
“What are you doing?” you asked, standing right behind him; you leapt out of the way when he tried to blow you up. You sighed and rolled your eyes, approaching him as the smoke cleared.
“Oh!” Deidara said, a blush immediately colouring his face pink. “[Name]-chan.”
“Nice to see you, too,” you sighed, “so – why are you blowing things up?  Are  you trying to give away our position?” He blushed darker and shook his head slightly. “So what’s bugging you?”
“Nothing,” he huffed, crossing his arms and looking away from you.
“Yes – because this is nothing,” you said sarcastically, gesturing to the smoking holes and down trees. Deciding to be a smartass, you walk up to Deidara and put your hands on either side of his face, making him look at you. “Please tell me?” Deidara stared at you,
“I – I –” he stammered; you felt his cheeks heat up as his face turned red again. You widened your eyes until they were puppy dog like.
“Please tell me, Dei-senpai?” you begged in a small, childish voice. You really did want to know, you had had a crush on Deidara since you first laid your eyes on him.  The fact you made him sad hurt you greatly inside. He blushed more then removed your hands from his face, holding them in his own, then leaned down.
“Yo – You’re my problem,” he whispered, then kissed you.  It was your turn to blush, your face reddening as you kissed him back.
        “I – I –” you stuttered as he pulled away. “Wh – Why’d y – you –”
“I – I’ve had – feelings for you since we met, [Name]-chan,” Deidara said, leaning his forehead against yours.
“R – Really?” you asked, your eyes widening. “I – I’ve had feelings for you too.  So why were you out here –”
“I was upset – about your date, un.” You couldn’t help but burst out with laughter, he looked at you confused. “What, un?”
“That wasn’t a date, dumby!” you chuckled, “no way in hell I’d think of Leader-sama that way!”
“So what was –?” he started, his face reddening.
“I know some crazy foreign ninja.  We had a business dinner.”
        “O-oh – I – uh –”
        “You’re so cute,” you chuckled.
“You’re cuter!” he teased, then kissed you again.  The only word you could think of to describe it was – ‘kaboom!’
