Hagrid whispered the password as it opens to Dumbledore's office there an old wizard sat in his office as his eyes twinkled with wisdom.

"Ah, Hagrid to what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Well, Headmaster I thought that you might need to see this."

As he presented me to Dumbledore like a slice of meat served on the platter as I awkwardly wave at Dumbledore.

"Hi?"

Dumbledore was a bit surprised what was presented at him now in front of him was a raccoon that is greeting him. 

"Well well now this is something come here my dear take a sit."

As he transfigured the books beside him as a chair for me to sit. It was quite adorable and I feel touched as he even make a chair for me. I took a seat and look at Dumbledore waiting for his response.

"Now what made you come into my office I suppose it is not just a raccoon-"

"I prefer to call my kinda Tanuki."

"My apologies to miss Tanuki for my misconception."

"It's alright." As I offered a small smile which was then accepted by Dumbledore.

"Where are my manners my name is Albus Dumbledore as you may know as the Headmaster of Hogwarts."

"My name is Astrid Roseheart and I used to be a human. I was sleeping in my room then suddenly I found myself in the forest. Which I also found out that I am also well-"

"A Tanuki."

"Indeed."

"But I believe it's not just that isn't it?"

I stared at Dumbledore for a minute contemplating whether to tell him or not. Then I nod at him which made him nod as a sign of understanding.

"Can you tell us, darling?"

I ponder again for a minute.

"I show you my memories it's much easier to show them to you than explain them by words."

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yes."

"Very well."

He then pointed the wand at me Hagrid confused by the series of events. Wanted to stop but I looked at Hagrid and smile at him. He looks worried about me and I was touched by his actions he always has a heart of gold. He then stops himself as he watches Dumbledore read my memories.

"Legilimens"

He then proceeds to read my memories everything that I knew about in this world and where I came from. For a long time, he continues to read them until he stops reading my memories. Then sits in contemplating the information that he received. After some time as if he finally made a decision and look at me.

"I will allow you to enroll in Hogwarts as one of the students. Since you don't have a guardian I will assign Hagrid as your guardian. And I will also help you pay for your expenses."

It was exactly those words that I am waiting to hear.

I am pleased that he let me enroll in Hogwarts and even given me a guardian.

"Hagrid do you agree to be Miss Roseheart's guardian?"

I was nervous that he would disagree I mean I am bothering them for even staying in Hogwarts, despite my situation I can't take advantage of them using my situation. I was going to say that Hagrid doesn't need to be my guardian.

"I wouldn't mind! I am honored to be Miss Roseheart's guardian. If you don't mind child."

"It would be my pleasure that you would be my guardian Hagrid I couldn't ask for more and thank you very much Professor Dumbledore for everything you have done!"

I couldn't help but tear up Hagrid's pated by back as to comfort me.

"And about your form Miss Astrid to what I can observe I believe it is not cursed. And it is also not in a way as what an animagus does. Perhaps similar to it but different is what I could tell from you."

I nodded I knew it was kinda different but if Dumbledore said then it must be something similar to an animagus but not quite.

"It's alright Professor Dumbledore although I changed my form, it doesn't much change anything in my life, probably, but I wish to stay positive despite in own situation."

As I flash what it seems to smile in my Tanuki form. And Dumbledore please by your positivity send us away pleasantly.

I looked up at Hagrid as he excitedly brought me towards his home. I wander around checking the forever nook and cranny of the place. And I love it here as long as I have a roof on my head I am pretty much not complaining.

"Come here kid I'll show you your room."

As he guides me to a room not too big nor too small but perfectly fit for me. I thank Hagrid for everything as I tried to find a perfect place for me to take a rest. As I dragged the pillows and blanket for me to make a nest. I know it was weird but I like to be surrounded by pillows. It was a tiring day and I couldn't help but fall asleep today is a tiring day.

When I woke up it was morning the sound of chirping and the noise of cooking downstairs. I clean my bed and arrange them properly as I jump out from my bed and I rolled onto the ground. It seems I am much more flexible in this form as I make my way towards the noise.

There I found Hagrid cooking and he noticed that I came down as he smiles at me.

"Morning kid here have some breakfast!"

As put the meals in front of us as he took a sit on the table. I then climb onto the chair and took a seat in front of Hagrid.

"It seems you are getting better using your form now Astrid."

"Indeed Hagrid thanks for the breakfast it is delicious, I never thought that you would have a talent in cooking!"

He then chuckles at me please by his flattery.

"Oh! you flattered me too much Astrid now eat first because we are going to buy you supplies."

I hurriedly ate and I looked up Hagrid showing I am done he then put down the plates to the kitchen. Then offers his hand and I jump on him as I climbed unto his head. I feel like I am in the mountain because I have never been to this height. We then used the motorbike that Hagrid uses as we flew away towards the market.

It was bustling and amazing I couldn't help but enjoy the place. Hagrid just chuckles at me we then walk towards the bank. We took the money that Dumbledore gave to us and bought me the supplies I needed.

It was an amazing experience I couldn't help but squeal every time we entered the shop. We do get a few eyes but I ignored them as I enjoy shopping together with Hagrid. I especially enjoy the part where I get a wand because the shop owner couldn't believe that a tanuki is asking for a wand. Well, I couldn't blame them because this is probably their first time seeing my kind.

Thankfully they shrunk my wand with a core of Phoenix feather. It was super awesome I also requested that to shrunk my supplies into my size. And the shop owner happily agreed to my request I told them we would pay for his service. But he refused he said something ' adorable raccoon trying to be a witch' I can't deny that I do have doe eyes which makes me adorable.

After we bought all the supplies that I needed for my school. We return to Hagrid's home which is also my home now. As I take a rest and prepare for tomorrow to finally enter Hogwarts.

Hogwarts here I come!
