"Now before we all begin Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words."

Albus then stands up from his seat and starts to begin his introduction, and a few complimentary words to begin the new term. I cast a glance at where Severus and Lily's direction, and immediately take back my sight as not to notice my gaze. I don't want to look like a stalker, and scare them for no reason. I look at Flora and they both look excited to be sorted into their own houses.

"So which house are you hoping to get in Flora and Elena?"

They both look at me at the same time, while thinking which house they would like, then Elena's face with a beaming smile.

"I would like to get in Hupplepuff!!! I heard that their rooms are near in the kitchen and I love to eat!"

The three of us giggle at Elena's aspiration, I mean who wouldn't be near the kitchen, where you can eat anything you want. I look at Flora interested in her response, she notices our gazes and shakes her head a little go along in our game.

"I would like to get in the Ravenclaw because there's a possibility, that I would get the library all by myself."

As she shyly turns away from our awning from us, she then clears her throat embarrassed by our actions.

"So how about you Astrid, which house are you aiming for?"

I think a lot about it but I am at lost, wondering which house I would be sort in. It would be nice if I could get in the Slytherin, so that I and Severus would be in the same house. But also I wanted to get in the Hufflepuff, because I heard it's warm and fuzzy. I am also interested in Griffindor's common room as well in Ravenclaw. 

"I never thought much about that, but I am curious which house I would be sorted in."

They nod at my response, as our conversation was interrupted by Professor McGonagall's announcement. They have started calling the students' names while waiting for the students to get sorted I watch in awe of the talking hat.

Finally Severus's name was called and was sorted to the Slytherin. He the. Proceeds to sits in his house while Lily's name is being called. I look at Severus he seems nervous about which house she would be sorted in.

"Gryffindor!"

When Lily's house is being announce as if Severus's life has been shattered. As he look down sad that his only friend didn't get in into his house. Suddenly Elena's names is being called I look at her as she nervously sits while wearing the sorting hat.

"Hmmmm... Cheerful, brave and bright has a good qualities as a Gryffindor but also has the kindness of a Hufflepuff."

"Better be Hufflepuff!"

She waves the two of us as she sits together with her housemates. I am happy for her she suits being a Hufflepuff. Next Flora's name is being called she then calmly walks to the chair as the sorting hat is put on her head.

"Intelligent and calm never easily being swayed better be Ravenclaw!"

She then smiles as she then proceeds to walk to the Ravenclaw's table. It seems my new friends are being separated by the house.

"Astrid Roseheart!"

I jump from my sit as I hurriedly clim to the sit while being drown by the sorting hat. It was bigger than I thought as I peek through the crowds they are looking at me. Then the sorting hat starts to murmurs to itself.

"This going to be difficult you have are cunning and ambitious, but also has a great heart and kindness. You are also intelligent, that could rival the Ravenclaw's knowledge. Also brave when needed to be very difficult very difficult indeed."
