A War on the Elements ( An Avatar Last Airbender fan-fic)

Chapter 1

BOOM!!! POP!! The sound of gunshot filled my ears bullets wizzed past my head as I led my friends Kai and Alek to our objective. I turn around and I started pushing the trigger as fast as I could. Alek throws a grenade, the next thing we know we see it bounce of a car and roll toward us we start to turn around and then... Black.

Then the words GAME OVER appears on the screen.

" Dang it Alek! We almost had it" she yelled angrily throwing the Xbox controller on the bean bag chair next to her

" yeah dude, that was stupid." I said as he got up from his bean bag chair and walked over to his pet fire ferret Mako ( named after one of the best pro benders of all time and husband to Avatar Korra) who immediately after release scampered over to Kai's shoulder.

" why does my ferret like you more than me?"

" because" she said matter-of-factly " you stink at this game." She smirked as she said this.

" I do not!" He yelled getting pretty irritated " how do you know I didn't mean to do that" his face starting to get red. Mako scurried into the hood of Kai's light blue hoodie and huddled at the bottom

" ok, ok" I said separating them with my hands " games over it's fine we can try again tomorrow"

" okay then," Alek said picking up mako out of Kai's hood and then grabbing the cage. Turing around he said " bye. See ya later."

" I've got to go too" she said tugging at her sweatshirt sleeves " see you tomorrow Avatar." Smiling as she walked out.
