War on the elements pt2

Chapter 2

Ecron

I looked in the mirror, my brown hair was tossled and messy, my eyes have always fascinated me there green with speacks of blue, grey, and copper in them, I guess it's because I'm the avatar but you never know. Only five people know that I'm the avatar those people are my parents Kai and my trainers. If anyone else knew it would one of the non-bender generals and then I would have to run and hide and I don't want to do that. I splashed some water onto my face some of it got onto the pink floyd tee- shirt I was wearing. I put my ray ban glasses back on and went outside to see Alek and Kai standing outside.

"So what are we doing today?" Alek asked scratching Mako on the head, then he immediately jumped from Alek's shoulder to Kai's.

"Dude you don't remember? Kai and I said in awe

"remember what?" He said bending down to tie his shoe.

" The new game world of bendcraft comes out today" I said

"How could you forget, we've been talking about it for months!" Kai said turning to Alek in shock

"Well sorry, I'm not that into PC gaming." Getting up from tying his shoes.

"Whatever." Kai said and we started walking to the game store.

On the way to the game store we talked about what we ( Kai and myself) are going to do when we get the game. I saw a strange man in firebender close, but he was obviously not a firebender, he probably just bought the wrong clothes. We kept walking and talking. We got to the game store and there was a line coming out of the door.

" oh spirits." Alek said taking Mako off of Kai's shoulder he immediately started scrambling and flailing.

"I've waited in longer" she said " well, let's get in line"

We got in the back of the line and waited the line moved surprisingly fast and we only had to wait about 45 minutes to get into the store. The store was pretty small but it's the only gaming store for the next ,like, 30 miles so it's pretty much our only choice. We're also really good friends with the owner so we get good deals on new games.

10 minutes later we got the games and went to pay for them. The I saw the same man that I saw before, in the firebender clothes, he left his spot in the line once he got in the store and he started to look around at the games. Before I knew it the man was holding a small glass container of gasoline and a match. He threw the glass bottle hard on the ground and it shattered. Kai started to turn to look when I realized what he was doing. I pushed Kai and Alek to the ground then I fell with them. Then I feel the intense heat of the flame and the screams of the people in and outside of the store, including a surprisingly high piched scream from Alek.
