Lights On! (Sun/Moondrop X Reader)

Chapter 6: 2 hours

Y/Ns POV

"No. Not really." I said.

He just nodded. Then he seemed to notice something. I tilted my head as if to ask what he'd notice.

"It's almost 4!" He beemed. I smiled a bit. That ment that once the clock struck 4, I'd only have two hours to wait until the main doors were open.

"That's awsome. Though, I will miss you while I'm home." I said to him. Sunny was an absolutely amazing bot. Moondrop, though aggressive, was cool too. This seemed to make him happy, and he came over and hugged me tightly. I hugged back.

"I'll miss you too Y/N! But you'll be back right?!" I smiled and nodded.

"Of course I will sunny." I said. There was no way I could stay away. Not after meeting sundrop and moondrop.

"So, what should we do for these last two hours?" I asked him smiling. He made a thinking gesture for a moment before he got himself an idea. He went off to get what he'd thought of. I smiled and waited paitently. After a few moments he was hurrying back over with many things in his arms. Paper cut outs, bottles of glitterglue, a bag of diffrent sized googly eyes, maybe 6 cans of fizzy faz.

"Oh? What's all this sunny?" I asked smiling as he set the things down on the table.

"We can make puppets and drink fizzy Faz!!" He grinned. I liked that idea. It sounded fun.

"Ok. Let's do that then." I said smiling. He cheered and sat down next to me and started to get things out. I did too and we both started to make puppets.

~~Time Skip~~

It's been almost an hour and I've made two puppets. One was Sunny, the other was Moondrop. Both were made very carefully. I hadn't used the googly eyes, for them, but I did use glitter glue to make them pop! I looked over and saw that sunny had made lots of little puppets. All diffrent characters and all had googly eyes and glitter glue. Then I noticed he was working on anouther, slightly bigger one.

I giggled a little seeing he was once again a mess. That apparently got his attention as he looked over to me and tilted his head. Then I saw as he noticed my puppets. He just looked at them for a moment. That got me a little nervous, his eyes didn't show much, and it's also hard to tell what he's feeling when he's quiet.

After the moment of silence he swooped me up in a hug laughing joyfully. I relaxed a bit and hugged back smiling.

"Those are amazing Y/N!!" He cheered. I felt myself blush lightly, glad he liked the puppets.

"Thanks. Yours are all great too." I said. He let go of me and picked up the one I hadn't seen yet.

"Wait wait I'm not done!" He cried and started working on it again. I laughed a little.

"Ok I'll wait." I said softly. So I just sat and waited for him to finish. I looked at my puppets and smiled. When I looked at them I mostly just saw the same person, or, robot? Animatronic- nevermind. It was someone I cared for. And unless sunny/moondrop said they want to be treated as separate people I'll treat them as one.

As I'm lost in thought I feel a tap on my shoulder. I look over and see sunny. He seems giddy and is hiding something behind his back. I tilt my head waiting for him to show me whatever it is he's trying to show me. After a moment he pulls the thing from behind his back. It's a Puppet of me! I look at it in awe.

"Whoa! That's so lifelike! Sunny your so good at art!" I smiled and hugged him. He grinned seemed to get more happy and he hugged back.

"I think it's beautiful like you, Y/N!!" He cheered. I felt a little heat rush to my cheeks once he said that, I hid my face in his robotic chest, which is actually less uncomfortable then you'd think it'd be. After a moment the lights went out. Signaling that the next hour had come. I looked up to see now I was hugging moondrop.

He wasn't holding on as tight for the hug. I let go, not sure if he was as fond of hugs as his counterpart. He looked down at me and ruffled my hair as if I were a kid.

"Your awfully cheerful for someone trapped in a mall of dangerous animationics." He said. I relised he was right. I had injuries and everything yet I was beaming as bright as a kid.

"Oh- oh wow your right, I had completely forgotten." I laughed a bit. He shook his head with a bit of a chuckle. He glanced over at my puppets then his Puppet of me. After a moment he set his in-between mine. So moondrop and sunny were on either side of me. I watched tilting my head. Once he finished I glanced up at him confused a bit. But, his expression looked calm and content.

I smiled a bit and poked his cheek. He didn't seem to notice, probably because he can't physically feel things, so I lightly used my nail and tapped him again. It wasn't enough to leave a scratch, but it sure got his attention. He looked over at me and smiled.

"So, because I have a nickname for when lights are on, should I make one for when their off too?" I asked with a smile. He seemed to sit and prosses that for a moment.

"Uh, just Moon is fine." He said. I nodded a bit.

"Ok. Moon it is then. You know, just because it's not all cutesy or something, it's still a nickname." I said smiling. He seemed slightly caught off guard by that.

"Oh, I guess it is.." he sounded a little embarrassed. I guess he's easier to make embarrassed at lights out. I smiled a bit and hugged him. He seemed shocked at that.

"Sorry I was scared of you at first." I said. He paused for a moment, not expecting my words. After a moment he simply pat my head.

"It's fine, you thought I'd hurt you." He shrugged. I gave a sad little nod and kept hugging him. Sunny or Moon, he was nice to hug. But once I noticed he seemed a little uncomfortable I let go.

"Ah sorry- I get cuddly when I'm tired." I said. He shrugged.

"It's fine." He said. Then looked over to the wooden doors. I noticed and tilted my head.

"Hey, Moon? Are you able to leave the daycare as Sunny?" I asked. He shrugged.

"If taken out by an employee."

"Oh, but as moon you can go out whenever?" He nodded.

"..do you want to go out?"

"Theirs a naughty boy up past his bedtime out there." He said and his eyes showed aggressiveness. That's when I remembered about that kid.

"Oh, well you can go out there if you'd li-"

"No." Is all he said as he looked away from the doors. I was confused but before I could say anything I interrupted myself with a big 'ol yawn.
