Lights On! (Sun/Moondrop X Reader)

Chapter 13: The storm

Y/Ns POV

"Moon.. whats happening.?"

"Either something bad, or its a storm. Either way we need to be careful." He said. I didn't exactly get why we'd need to be careful if it was just a storm. Moon made his way arms reach away from me. I looked up at him. He was still watching the doors intently.

"Why do we need yo be careful if it's a storm.?" I asked. He glanced at me for a quick moment before looking back to the doors.

"If the other animatronics were close to an outlet or a machine when a storm trippes the power they short cercit and become more aggressive then you've yet seen. Worse then your first night stuck here." He said. I felt my body stiffen. I looked over to the doors too. But so far everything seemed quiet. He seemed to notice it too as he turned to me.

"Let's get to a diffrent part of the daycare. If they bust in here they won't be able to find us if we're hidden." He said and walked over picking me up. I nodded a bit. And with that he carried me to a diffrent area. This place was through a star shaped door and looked like a designated nap zone. That must've been what it was. Their were blankets and pillows everywhere and the floor looked soft. He set me down and sat next to me. I glanced at him and asked a sorta random question.

"Moon, do the lights ever go out in the day?" I asked. Trying to think of just something to chat about for now. He looked at me.

"Yeah. Only once a day. During nap time." I smiled a bit.

"Do any of the kids cuddle up to you?" I asked. He shook his head.

"No. The kids prefer Lights on. Though their is one kid who isn't scared of me." I frowned a bit and crawled closer to him. He watched cocking his head. I got closer and sat next to him, leaning on him a bit.

"Well, your not scary to me." I said. His shoulders laxed a bit. He gave a sigh and looked at the ceiling.

"Thanks Y/N." I smiled. It was hard to believe I had ever been scared of him. Yeah he could be a little creepy when he wanted to be. But he was actually really kind. He may not be as giddy with lights out but he was caring. I smiled a bit. After a minute of just sitting there with him he got up. I looked at him confused.

"I'll be right back. Stay here. And if you here someone enter the daycare hide behind something in this room." He said. I was confused but gave a small, reluctant nod. I didn't exactly want him to leave my side. But right now I couldnt even walk, so I couldn't go with him.

I sat in the daycare nap area and waited for Moon to come back. He'd left the daycare. But what was he looking for? I sighed a bit and remembered our kiss. I blushed lightly and put my hand to my lips. The kiss was so gentle and tender.. I almost forgot I had kissed an animatronic.

But.. He doesn't feel like he's just an animatronic. He's his own person. His own being. I smiled a bit thinking about it.

I heard the daycare doors open and quickly crawled behind a tower of pillows and big blankets. I stayed there as I heard animatronic steps coming closer. But they didn't sound like stomps like the main ones seemed too. But I stayed hidden just incase. After a moment I heard moon.

"Y/N, it's just me." He said. I smiled a bit and crawled out of my hiding spot. He looked at me and walked over. I noticed he was holding a box. I couldn't see the top of it but it looked like a pizza box. He walked over and sat infront of me. Indeed it was a pizza box. My eyes widened a little once I saw it. I looked at him confused.

"I'm pretty sure you havnt eaten in a while so here." He said handing it to me. I smiled a bit.

"Thank you moo-" I was cut off by a loud thunder clap from outside causing me to flinch and cover my head. Moon noticed and sighed. He put his hand on my head.
