When first looking at your assigned 'guardian', you thought for sure the second someone with even the littlest bit of fighting skill broke in you were done for. Sure, maybe you should have had more trust in Soundwave, but he was a very thin looking bot, especially compared to others on the ship you were held captive on. You had it out for you the second you appeared on the nemesis, especially from two slinky Deceptions: Airachnid and Starscream. With multiple near-death encounters with them, you thought it was realistic enough for you to worry about your safety. But thankfully Soundwave wasn't as horrible at fighting as you thought he was going to be, and when Airachnid came to attack you after being cast out of the Deception ranks once more, he stood his ground. You thought for sure he would step aside and let her have her ways with you (considering he never spoke a word to you- or tried overtly to keep you out of harms way) but he actually was decent at combat. Compared to the spider like bot, he held his ground quite well. It was impressive.
