Let's do some background knowledge before we dive into this book. Ok so for starters this book basically takes place near the end of season one of The Promised Neverland. Y/N is Norman's twin sister, she is the total opposite to Norman however, she is impulsive, athletic yet extremely smart like her brother.
Ray and Y/N do not get along they have petty arguments and always have to prove the other is better than the other. Everyone at Gracefeild gets along with Y/N and cannot fathom why Ray and Y/N don't get along and have this strange unsual faud.
This book will probably be short fingers cross I finish it 🤞🏻
This book also will contain spoilers both manga and anime but I wouldn't worry too much I will most likely use my own storyline.

3rd person POV:
Y/n was nervous she hadn't realized how anxious she was until Ray smacked her across the head telling her to pack it in. She mouthed an "OW" rubbing her hand at her now throbbing head.
"He'll be fine" Emma muttered tapping her fingers against her stomach leaning on her crutches it sounded like she was trying to reinsur herself than the H/C girl standing anxiously beside her.
Yesterday Isabella found out the children's plan to escape and in doing so broke Emma's leg and revealed Norman's shipment date was tonight. Which is why Y/N- Norman's twin sister was feeling sick with anxiety.
Gilda and Don was playing with the little children trying to act normal but they were sweating with worry, what if he didn't make it past the wall?
"Will you quit with the tapping and nail biting? He's going to be fine it's Norman for crying out loud" Ray said emotionlessly staring out over to the feild waiting for his mother to go searching out for Norman and come back empty handed with terror painted on her face.
He smiled at the thought of his mother's terror stricken face that she had lost the white haired boy.
And as he glanced over to his mom checking her "watch" he noticed a smug smile tugging at her lips. Her purple eyes dimmed and she looked up slowly. Ray followed her gaze and his eyes widened.
"That brain dead moron! " Ray shouted earning the looks at the fellow Grace feild children making them confused on why Ray was shouting.
Norman slowly walked soulesly up the hill revealing the plan didn't work, he was still here meaning... He was going to be shipped in a few hours.
"YOU IDIOT! " Y/N stomped over to her brother placing both her hands on Norman's shoulders shaking him, her anger was running deep through her veins.
"YOU CAN LIVE YOU CAN ESCAPE YOU FUCKING IDIOT! " She yelled and as she was about to slap her brother in retaliation of her anger a hand was sternly placed on her shoulder and a voice whispered in her ear.
"Shut your mouth or I'll kill you myself" Isabella coldly spoke.
Y/N went pale matching the soulless gaze of her brother, they all then walked inside quietly not speaking a word to one an other.
A few moments later Ray, Norman, Y/N and Emma were in the infirmary Emma was lying in bed resting her leg while Ray was shouting at Norman. Y/N sat in the chair in the corner tapping her foot thinking of a plan.
"IT WAS A SIMPLE PLAN WHY DID YOU COME BACK!? " Ray yellled.
"It's a cliff" Norman said effortlessly.
The silence grew in the room all eyes were on Norman.
"A what? " Y/N asked in disbelief.
"A cliff Moron keep up" Ray hissed at Y/N in return Y/N stuck her middle finger up to him leaning back into her chair.
"Guys can you two stop fighting for like 5 minutes please we have bigger fish to fry then your petty bullshit! " Emma ranted immediately covering her mouth regretting her choice of words.
"Around the wall there's a huge cliff I ran around it twice and by my calculations it's a long way down so we can't climb down and then make our way across, there is a bridge not too far of a walk either, down side is it's connected to headquarters you guys need to make a big enough distraction to get across. " Norman explained.
"What do you mean buy 'you'? " Ray asked.
Y/N rose up from her chair slowly walking over.
"Your still going to sacrifice yourself, to buy us more time aren't you!? " Y/N's face was hurt she didn't like the situation at all in fact she felt sick to her stomach thinking about her brother no longer being by her side.
"Y/N please-" Norman began to try and comfort his sister and reinsure her she'd be ok but before he could he was brought with a quick harsh slap to his left cheek.
"HOW COULD YOU THINK FOR A MOMENT I'D BE OK WITH THIS, THAT ANY OF US WOULD BE OK WITH THIS" She yelled tears streaming down her face.
Norman had tears flowing down his cheeks Norman always was emotional but now he truly was heart broken seeing his sister so upset. He turned to look at Emma and Ray but Ray just shrugged his shoulders holding his hands up.
"Don't look at me, that idiot actually has a point" Ray had a frown on his face and a tear rolled down his cheek. He walked over to Norman embracing him in a bone crushing hug.
"You're a jerk" he snarled, growing frustrated with his best friend's will to heroically sacrifice himself for his family.
"hey Norman... You still have time
Go-go run and hide in the woods we could bring you food" Emma shakily spoke. She was too in shock to be angry at his decision. Because she knew deep down once he made his mind on something he would keep to it.
Norman pulled away from Ray and walked towards Emma softly placing his hand on her shaking hands and started to gently Stoke the back of her knuckles with his thumb smiling through tears.
Ray and Y/N both knew Emma and Norman had secret love for one another but neither one confessed to one another.
Ray and Y/N both looked at each other and walked out the room giving the two some privacy.
"You ok? " Ray asked a hint of concern in his voice.
"What do you think jackass" she said her voice cracking as she started to walk away to collect her thoughts but Ray pulled her into a hug, the hug was short but for those few seconds they both felt comfortable in each other's embrace until they both broke a part walking in opposite directions.
