3rd person POV:

Ray roughly ran a hand through his jet black hair, he was sitting in the library tapping his foot as he tried to distract his mind from what was to come.

Ray had watched his siblings get shipped out many times and hadn't said a word for years but now it was different. His best friend was going to get shipped in a hour. How could he stand there in front of everyone and pretend everything is fine? like Norman is going to live a new happy life.

Ray carried a lot of guilt on him, sometimes at night he would have dreams of the siblings he let die. He would wake up covered in sweat and it felt like there was no air in the world that could possibly be enough to restore his breathing pattern.

Ray was tired, mentally and physically he closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose letting out a deep sigh. His ears perked up when he heard someone coming into the library.

"Hey moron I want some privacy please? " he huffed, in truth he did want to be alone he wanted time to process what was about to happen. He wanted to process his emotions that ran through his body.

"Oh, um I'm sorry it's just- I don't know where else to go." Y/N shakily spoke through tears.

Ray hooked his foot with the leg of the chair beside him and kicked it away from the table. Y/N took that as a sign to sit down.

"I don't know what I'm going to do without him" Y/N spoke

Ray didn't know what to say so he just sat in silence the two of them trying to calm themselves down and collect there thoughts on the matter. Until they heard the deafening ring of the bell.

Y/N's eyes widened and her hand instantly grabbed for Ray's out of impulse.

Ray slowly looked down to see the Y/C haired girl digging her fingers into his arm her knuckles were white and he was pretty sure he'd have a bruise from the sudden action.

Ray didn't know what to do or how to react so he simply just rubbed tiny circles against her back to try and stop her from her  panic attack.

"Y/N you need to breathe, like it or not we have to act normal in front of everyone and- you need to say goodbye" Ray said.

Y/N nodded and whiped a single tear away from her cheek. She gave a half hearted smile and got up slowly and headed out of the library door to see her brother one last time.

But before she left she turned around in the door way to look at the ravenette she saw him have his head in his hands eyes closed. She saw a few tears running down his face and thats when she truly felt heart broken for the boy. She had never seen him this vunuable before and she broke seeing him this broken.

"Aren't you coming? " She muttered

The boy slowly looked at her and simply said "no". Y/N nodded knowing how hard it would be to watch Norman go.

She made her way to the main Hall in front of the door where everyone was gathered. Norman was dressed in a black top hat and suit he looked rather handsome. He had a soft expression on his face as he said his farewells to the younger children. Y/N looked over to see Don and Gilda standing by Emma who had her head hanging low she looked drained and hopeless.

Norman looked up to meet his eyes to his sister his smile grew into a sad one his eye brows furrowed and his lip slightly quivering.

Y/N couldn't breathe she felt like this was all a dream-well a nightmare. She was in a state of mind where everything around her was hazy and she couldn't quite focuse on what was going on till she felt Norman's hand gently on her face.

A single tear rolled down her cheek as she looked at her twin, memorizing how he looked and acted in fear that one day she would forget.

" I am so sorry" He quietly spoke.

His tears rolling down his chin as sorrow clouded over him like a blanket.

"I don't know what I'm going to do with out you" she muttered almost struggling to say the words.

He gave a half hearted smile.

"You my little dove will do amazing without me, your stronger and braver than I could of ever been. Your fearless I quite envy you for that" he lightly chuckled at the end of his sentence.

Y/N sobbed as she realized she would never hear her brothers voice again. She would miss his nicknames that he had called her over the years, she would miss the comfort in his embrace and his unusual intelligence.

"Are you afraid? " Y/N whispered in his ear as the two hugged clinging on to one another.

"Terrified" he replied. She could practically feel his fear as she felt him shivering.

"It'll be ok, just think you'll wake up into a world much more brighter and happier than this one. And if all goes according to plan I will see you again" she said through tears.

"Mom why aren't the twins going to be adopted together?" Y/N heard one of the younger kids ask from a far.

The twins pulled away and placed there foreheads against each others. They knew that this would be the last time they would ever feel each other again. The last time they would see each other and hear there voice. And that frightened them.

"How will I ever be able to go on without you brother? " she whispered in a soft tone.

"Because your not alone, I will be forever in your heart besides you have Emma and Ray" he spoke with the same manner as hers.

Y/N let out a pfft sound from her lips "that idiot hates me as much as I hate him no way he'll even remotely care how I feel" she said sourly.

Norman pulled away and hung is head low and took a deep breathe before looking back up at his sister's eyes almost studing it's colour.

"Goodbye little dove" he smiled at the nickname, he first ever called her 'little dove' when they were 5 years old and Y/N was determined to fly like a dove resulting in a broken arm from jumping from a tree. Ever since then Norman had given her the nickname 'little dove' even though the story behind it was silly Y/N found comfort in the nickname.

"Goodbye.. Brother" she spoke through teary eyes.

"Oh one more thing, where's Ray? " Norman asked already getting an idea of the answer.

"He-he couldn't bring himself to say goodbye" Y/N replied.

Norman seemed to understand and nodded walking over to Emma.

Y/N couldn't hear what the two was saying and to be honest she didn't want to know she thought that the two deserved privacy. In a few moments Norman pulled away from Emma heading towards the door but before he could Emma leaped from her crutches into his arms she had something in her hand and when she put it up against his neck Norman's eyes grew and he pushed her away. They were both panting on the ground.

"Are you crazy!? " Norman blurted out.

"No! I will not let you go and die! " Emma replied. Everyone in the room whispered between them before Mom stepped in.

She laughed and spoke "children don't be worried Emma isn't feeling herself due to the stress from her injury and now Norman getting adopted" that seemed to quite people down. The children were all too young and was easy to trick.

Mom whispered something to Norman and Emma most likely telling them to hurry this up and not to course a scene.

Norman placed his hand to Emma's cheek and that's where
Y/N decided to leave the room she didn't want to see her brother go through those doors and never return. So she saved herself the image and ran.

She ran as fast as humanly possible until she bumped into something-

Well someone.
