It had been two weeks later in the tunnels with the two demons. Ray and Y/n's injurys were healing nicely therefore the group of escaped children and the two demons planned to move location soon towards the bunker.

Y/n was walking along the small area watching her siblings learn how to make tools with Sonju. She looked over ahead however to see Emma with Mujika looking deeply upset which of course made Y/n stiffen up and go over to comfort the girl.

"That's Norman" She heard the ginger say sadly pointing to the white haired boy in the photograph she had in her tiny hands. She saw how her twin looked ghostly pale and his eyes wide from the flash surprised of it's brightness. Y/n stopped in her tracks upon hearing his name. Her stomach dropped and she felt the tears burn her eyes.

It was only when they heard a choked sob from behind them that they noticed Y/n's presence. Emma quickly folded up the photo and stuffed it into her cardigan. The poor demon was confused about the situation she was stuck in yet sensed a powerful amount of pure pain radiate from the girl. Y/n never really had a chance to process her grief and therefore stuck in limbo, haunted by her grief.

"He meant something to you... Didn't he?" The demon girl said gently watching closely as she saw the girl tighten her eyes close and shake her head uncontrollably like she was trying to shake his memory from her mind.

"No-no..no..I don't- JUST STOP" Her mumbling wasn't exactly aimed towards the two in front of her, she had been experiencing visions of her brother she reckoned it was some sort of guilt that plagued her that wouldn't let her forget that he is gone yet she remained.

Before Emma could wrap her arms tightly around the sobbing girl she quickly made her excuses and rushed off grabbing a bow and arrow in a blurred haze. She had been learning how to shoot a bow and arrow for a week now and thought hunting something would satisfy the rage she felt.

"Hey kid slow down" A stern voice called out. She looked over her shoulder to see Sonju on his demonic horse and his signature blade on his back.

"You gonna kill something? " a smirk played on his lips at the thought of blood.

Y/n shrugged. "Well I'll help, hop on kid" he platted the space behind him for her to sit but before she could she was yet again stopped.

"I'll come with" his tone never sounding anything but monotone. Y/n didn't know why the Raven would come hunting with her but she just rolled her eyes thinking it was another one of his ploys to annoy her.

"More the merrier" the demon scoffted pulling up the two on his horse, a sense of deja vu rushed through his veins making him laugh as they raced through the tunnels into the forest.

Once deep into the forest, Y/n was aiming her bow and arrow at a nearby deer with Sonju close by helping her aim and Ray standing behind her hoping she wouldn't some how kill him in the process.

"Ok... Now... Release! " he whispered watching as Y/n's arrow swiftly launched from the bow and into the deer's heart. Sonju cheered patting the young hunter's back as she smiled trumptley at her kill-but as she looked over again she didn't see the deer she just killed. Instead she saw her brother with the arrow in his chest drenched in blood.

A bone rushing scream ripped through the girl's lungs seeing her brother-her dead twin in front of her. She collapsed to the floor screaming and crying in horror, the burning sensation in her eyes struck back with a vengeance as she clung to her chest clawing at her clothes as she felt her skin was on fire.

Sonju alarmed, kneeled down to the girl rubbing the girl's back frantically. "KID! KID??? WHAT'S WRONG?!?" He yelled trying to grab her attention.

"I'm sorry! Norman-i-im SORRY PLEASE I'M SORRY! " She sobbed staring at her brother. Ray went cold hearing his best friend's name and as he looked over to where Y/n was looking to just see the dear she had just shot. He knealed in front of her holding her head in his hands.

"It's not real.. Norman he's not here...You're ok" He said calmly yet firmly locking eyes with her. "He's not here" he shook his head pressing his forehead against hers feeling her sobs and screams shake against his touch. "he's gone, it's not real". He continued to Stoke her hair trying to pull her out of her haze and 20 minutes later she went completely quiet and pulled away from his embrace. Her eyes were lifeless and her expression was blank as she looked over to the deer that Sonju was praying over.

She didn't say a word and felt wobbly in her feet as she finally managed to calm her breathing thanks to Ray she then headed back over to Sonju's horse trying to act that her episode didn't in fact just happen.

The boy and the demon looked at each other puzzled for a moment a silent agreement was shared between them as the boy nodded. They needed to watch over her.

Later that night Y/n was in a deep sleep. Sweat poured from her body as heat radiated the room she was in. She muttered and begged for forgiveness and she screamed and cried apologizes. The images of her brother in pain on his last moments poisoned her dreams.

"It's your fault"

"It should of been you"

"I should be alive not you"

"Y/N?! " Ray called pulling her out of her nightmare, Y/n gasped for air panting desperately as she looked around her surroundings. She saw Ray holding onto her shoulders, his green eyes portraying concern as she was yet again screaming in agony about her brother in front of him.

"Guessing Norman likes to torment you too huh? " he asked letting go of her shoulders. "Little bitch keeps me up at night" he snicked although the dreams scared him and made him feel guilty, he had to admit it was a very Norman thing to do.

All Y/n did was nod holding onto her chest once again. Ray seemed to notice this and slowly placed his hand hovering over her chest looking up to the girl waiting for her nod of approval before placing his hand on her chest trying to smooth her pain.

"It's why I don't sleep anymore, I heard you screaming when I was in my room and came to check on you.." He mumbled then he began to get up but was stopped by Y/n's grip on his hand like he was her lifeline.

She shook her head no and he understood. He embraced her leaning down on his back letting her rest her head on his chest. His arms wrapped around her chest as she sobbed into his, until she finally went to sleep listening to a familiar comforting lullaby...

"I guess we're both struggling with survivors guilt" he whispered.
