The slim figure came into Y/n's and Ray's view, the thumping and defending sound of Y/n's heart beated aggressively against her chest as she clung to Ray's tight grip. Slowly, the slender figure came into the dim light of the compact tunnel not easing Ray and Y/n's anxieties.
"Great we got kidnapped by demons" Y/n sarcastically scoffed at the situation at hand.
The demon girl just smiled softly revealing her purple short hair as she put down her hooded cloak. She calmly raised her hands up slowly trying to ease the pair as she saw their anxious faces. She studied them closely she noticed how the raven was standing a bit in front of the h/c girl. She noticed how the two held each other's hand and she examined their wounds and nodded when she saw their wounds where healing nicely.
"Sorry for scaring you it's so good to see you both looking much better from when we found you" The genuine voice could be recognised and the two- who were still a little weary of the demon- separated from each other both looking at each other in disgust when they both finally clocked on, they were holding hands out of fear.
"Your family are waiting for you "She stated pointing her hand to the end of the tunnel. Y/n outstretched her hand towards the demon girl and smiled softly.
"I'm Y/n, I'm guessing you're the one that has been looking after us?" Ray studied the two interact in confusion thinking Y/n was an idiot for trusting the demon so quickly.
"Well, I found your friends and have been treating your wounds while you've been asleep, but it was actually Sonju who saved you it's a good thing he found you when he did or else your pursuers would have had you by now" The demon replied as a tall thick shadow looked from behind her.
"That is correct. I'm Sonju and this is Mujika no need to be afraid we don't eat humans" The red haired male's voice spoke.
Ray rose his brow in both confusion and distrust in the demon's statement. Y/n held back a laugh as she stared at the two.
"So your vegans? " She laughed. The question was soon replied with a sharp smack around the head from Ray clearly annoyed at the girl's light heartedness. The girl shot him an icy glare which made the boy's skin crawl.
"Your family is waiting for you" the demon named Mujika announced holding up her left arm and pointing it into the dark abyss behind her.
Ray decided to approach the direction with a cautious manner keeping a close eye on Y/n who was walking calmly behind him seeing his anxious manner quite amusing.
"You worry too much" The girl pointed out kicking a small stone into the darkness hearing it skid across the dusty ground.
"And your too trusting" the boy Snickerd back.
"Your stuck up"
"Your annoying"
"Your a pain"
"Your irrelevant"
"Your self-centered"
"Your-" the boy was lost for words racking his brain for a sharp come back but yet nothing came out. He sighed hearing y/n laugh quietly to herself he could practically hear her grin forming on her lips. He then looked over to in front of him and saw the faint shadows of the grace field children, he felt the tension in his shoulders slightly relax as he knew for certain everyone was safe and unharmed from where he was standing it looked like everyone was truly ok this made another question emerge in the highly intelligent raven's mind.
"RAY, Y/N!" Shouted the excited children as they ran towards the two who have been asleep for a while. Gilda stood slightly back watching the scene she didn't look happy as the others did and that made Y/n feel slightly confused and offended. Did Gilda not want them to come back? Ray also noted the green haired girl's facial expression and also questioned on her behaviour. They were both interrupted from there pondering when Lani and Thoma were pulling them both to the ground to meet there eyes.
"THOMA OWES ME 2 OF HIS COOKIES WE MADE A BET IF YOU WERE DEAD OR NOT" Lani screamed in the two teen's faces causing them to squint in the sudden volume of the young boy. Ray looked confused and slightly afraid of the two young boys. Y/n pulled a face and stared to slowly remove her hand from Thoma and backed away laughing nervously.
"Jesus these kids are wild, am I right?" She asked as she turned away she faced in front of Gilda who glared at her intensely, her glasses were tinted as she slightly angled her head she seemed as if she was staring at the ground but her eyes were dead locked onto
Y/n as if she was judging her carefully.
"Gilda did I do something wrong?..." The confused girl asked she felt awkward and kept changing how she stood; leaning on her left leg, then the right, standing up straight, then slouching, to say the girl was anxious was an understatement.
However a swift sharp slap to her right cheek quickly pulled her out of her anxious state and she stood in shock of Gilda's abrute behavior.
"GILDA WHAT THE HELL-?! " Ray shouted from across the room who was also very surprised in this action. All the kids who where pulling on his sleeve collars stopped as well and turned there attention towards the two girls.
"YOU COULD OF GOTTEN KILLED YOU NEED TO BE MORE CAREFUL I WAS SO SCARED-WE WERE ALL SCARED I'VE BEEN RUNNING AROUND TRYING TO KEEP EVERYONE CALM AND EMMA HAS BEEN LEARNING HOW TO HUNT TO DISTRACT HERSELF BECAUSE SHE BLAMES HERSELF THAT YOU GOT HURT! DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN WE CAN'T LOOSE YOU-I CAN'T LOOSE YOU" Gilda shouted out of not anger but concern she was relieved she was ok but the stress of not knowing Y/n was going to be ok was really upsetting the girl. She sobbed into Y/n's shirt. Y/n felt guilt swell into her throat as she saw her friend breakdown all because of her. Yeah she didn't intend to get hurt but she knew the risk. She hugged Gilda closely to her chest.
"I'm sorry- I'm so sorry"
