Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all of my very wonderful Readers.

Taehyung's POV

After the plane reaches cruising attitude, I unbuckle my seatbelt and lean forward placing my elbows on my thighs. Our plane is considered small but there's plenty of room to move around and it is the panicle of luxury. The front compartment that myself and the asshole shares is sperate and private. The back compartment is also private with a seat for our flight attendant Yeona. This plane was built for the super wealthy like Jungkook Jackass. His rudeness is offensive but I no better than to take it personally. I know his type very well and I pity him. Too bad, he most certainly is hot, but his abrasiveness, judgmental and mean disposition bleeds him of all attractiveness for me. What I hate the most is how he treated Yeona. She's a lovely girl and my friend. I've known her for a few years, and she struggles with her self-esteem. Jungkook Jerk didn't help in the least. I resent people like him that take advantage of those that are weaker. He cares about no one but himself, power, and making money. I fuckin hate him.

As I rise from my seat, I look over to the man sitting next to me. His eyes are closed, and I pause for a moment and watch him sleep. I feel a tightness in my chest and slowly shake my head. He looks peaceful and kind, yet I know he's not. I exhale and move down the aisle towards the back cabin. As I enter, I see an older couple sitting together and holding hands as they lean into each other. It's a very sweet moment and I softly smile.

"Hi, I'm Kim Taehyung," I say introducing myself. They both immediately smile at me and sit forward.

"I'm Min Song, and this is my wife Yea. It's good to meet you. We are traveling to LA to meet our first grandchildren due to be born in 2 weeks."

"Oh, my goodness, that is very exciting! A grandchild! Congratulations, Mr

"Oh, my goodness, that is very exciting! A grandchild! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Min." Being a bit demonstrative I wave my arms. It's just how I experience excitement. I am genuinely happy for them. I immediately like them.

"Thank you, Mr. Kim! They both say with wide smiles.

"Have you been to the US before Mr. Kim?" I sense a slight but beautiful accent." Mrs. Min says as I softly chuckle.

"Please, call me Tae. I was born in Los Angeles and my family lives there. I'm looking forward to seeing them. It's been almost two years and I miss them terribly. My work is quite demanding, but I love it. I wasn't able to make it home last year for Christmas and of course we're all very excited." I share as they nod with beaming smiles. They seem to be in synch with each other and it's incredibly sweet. Their connection reminds me a bit of my mom's and dad's connection. Intimate, sweet, and very loving. They feel like home.

"Is this your first trip to the US Mr. and Mrs. Min?"

"Yes, it is Tae," Mr. Min says as he gently squeezes his wife's hand and looks at her lovingly. Please call us Song and Yea." He replies with true earnestness in his eyes.
