"She's been hurt!"
"Badly."
"And we have to find out who hurt her."
Arden growled,slamming his fists on his mahogany desk,grunting in frustration.
William noticed both of their reaction when Reva fainted,he quite couldn't put his finger on it,on what they wanted from his daughter.
He heard their conversation from outside their office,and entered it with determination to to find out their intentions towards her.
"Arden."
"Ashten."
He acknowledged both of them,as he took a seat beside big guy's desk.
"Is she alright?"
Ashten asked,breaking the awkward silence between the three men sitting in the office,drowning in their own thoughs and worry for one girl only.
"Yeah,she is." William whispered.
Clearing his throat,he straightened his shoulders, "What are your intentions towards my daughter?"
Both the brother's eyes widened at William's sudden blunt question,and they gulped visibly. Both of them respected and loved William like a father,because he was their fathers' bestfriend. They knew him since they were kids,and also knew that him and Elizabeth couldn't conceive, so they loved the twins as their own. When they adopted Reva five years ago,their family fell perfectly into place,and both the brother's Damn well knew that even if they hurt Reva accidentally,William will have their balls cut off.
Ashten took charge and decided to answer William,knowing his brother would never answer any question,out of his big ego,even when it's their fathers or William.
"Will, I assure you we'll never hurt Reva. We are dearly fond of her. We both grew feelings for her since we first saw her four years ago,at your pool party.." Ashten chuckled at William's sulken reply.
"I knew I should've never invited you two to that party."
Arden's face lit up with a small smile,at the thought of Reva,when he and his twin first saw her.
"We felt something for her since that day. We kept a protective eye over her."
Ashten admitted nervously,scratching the back of his neck.
William glared at them,and cocked an eyebrow, urging him to continue.
"And for a past year we were keeping tabs on her, her performance, her studies,her ranking, everything."
Arden completed his brother's sentence.
"We both feel something strong for her,and we know it's more than just to keep her protective and safe, Will.
I am asking you to give us a chance to show her how much she means to her." Ashten shifted in his seat,as he finished speaking,feeling like a teenage boy who was sitting in front of his girlfriend's strict father.
William sighed and stood up.
"I know,since that day that you two have grown fond of my daughter,but I didn't knew. . . Upto this extent!"
