quackity took a deep breathe and followed the others inside.

the little shop they had gone in had a different variety in things, from plushies to silverware. quackity decided to wander off on his own not wanting to interfere with george and dream.

"so did ya tell him ??"

"well i WAS until you decided to ruin the moment"

dream scoffed "pshhh whatever it wasn't the right time anyways"

"i guess.."

"and by the way, shouldn't you be looking for a present for him??"

"yeah but i don't know what he wants.." george was hoping to get him something special this christmas but didn't know what could be considered 'special' to quackity.

"well go on why don't you ask him !" dream suddenly pushed george from his back right to where quackity was standing.

george bumped into quackity causing quackity to be startled stumbling back a few steps.

"oh fuck sorry alex-" george blushed from embarrassment and glared at dream who shrugged and joined karl and sapnap.

"dream sure does like to joke around" quackity forced a laugh out.

"haha yeahh sorry about that , anyways what're you looking at ??" george noticed that quackity  had been looking at something in the store.

quackity quickly put it down. "what- uhm nothing - it's just a stupid-"

"aww these are so cuteee , they're matching hoodies with little cats ! pff i didn't know you liked this stuff quackity"

quackity blushed hard and looked away. "whatever i was just looking around it's no big deal" quackity playfully rolled his eyes as he walked to another isle. george followed.

"soo i never really asked you what you wanted for christmas" george smiled hoping he'd finally figure out what to get him.

quackitys voice suddenly lowered almost to whisper level.

"you."

george couldn't really hear him well so luckily he didn't hear what he said.

"sorry what?"

"YOU- OH I MEAN - I WAS SINGING ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU HAHA ." he wasn't, but the song was playing in the store at the time.

"ohh okay haha-" george raised an eyebrow.

then all of a sudden dream pulled george by his hood.

"HEY- WHAT THE-"

but before anyone could say anything dream dragged him off somewhere else. sapnap and karl just looked at quackity and shrugged, they couldn't explain it either.

"Hey ! what is your problem dream ???"

"GEORGE HOW CAN YOU BE THIS STUPID"

"i mean i know i am but that's a little harsh" george rolled his eyes.

"YOU IDIOT QUACKITY JUST CLEARLY ADMITTED TO LIKING YOU" dream shook george by his shoulders.

"uhm what-?" george blushed and a wave of confusion washed over him.

"HE LITERALLY SAID HE WANTED YOU BUT JUST TRIED TO PLAY IT OFF. i swear george it takes so long for the gears in your brain to turn"

george just stood there unable to come up with anything to say.

"oh no, he was just singing the song !"

screaming could be heard in the distance

"heh sounds like they're having fun huh" karl awkwardly smiled continuing to shop.

"haha yeah..." quackity said trying not to show how hurt he was.

"are you alright quackity..?" sapnap noticed his somber expression.

"huh- oh yeah im great !" quackity forced a smile making his face hurt a little.

"well alright.."

"hey guys after this we should get some ice cream !" karl had been craving ice cream and thought the boys would like some as well, he was right. sapnap and quackity both nodded.

the rest of the day was spent with the trio hanging out and shopping and making inside jokes while dream and george were up to something else.

"hey i think nows a good time to stop for ice cream huh ?" quackity was tired from all the walking and talking he'd done today.

the group agreed also being exhausted from their hectic day.

"what flavor are you gonna get ?"

quackity was startled by george since they hadn't talked alone in while "oh uhm i'm not sureee..maybe this new one they have" quackity spotted one that caught his eye, love potion , and not because of the name, but because of the little heart shaped chocolates in the ice cream.

"love potion? huh maybe you'll fall in love with me finally-"

"wait what ?" quackity giggled a little bit thinking it was a joke.

"I MEAN AS YOU LOVE ME AS A FRIEND-yeaH that's what i meant" george's face turned a shade of pink as he dug his face into his hands.

"pfff yeah you wish" he laughed blushing as well.

"hey george what're you gonna get?" dream appeared behind the two nearly giving them a heart attack.

"oh my god you scared me.. and i'm not sure what about you ?"

"probably mint"

"MINT ?!??!?" quackity made a disgusted face.

"that tastes like toothpaste how could you like that ???" george glared at him too.

"WHAT?? ITS GOOD-"

"george you really want a man who likes mint ice cream ??"

"ugh shut up quackity." he playfully push quackitys face out of the way.

after the group ordered and had their ice cream they sat down at some tables near bye. well almost all of them, george and dream separated and sat at another table close but not as close.

"i wonder what those two lovebirds are up to" quackity looked at the two talking with one another. sapnap and karl both laughed but quackity stayed silent.

"i really think you have a chance george trust me"

"you think so?? i'm not to sure about that.."

"really george, you should just tell him how you feel !"

"what if he doesn't like me back ??? then what"

"well fine before you do that you have to do one thing.."

"and what's that ?"

"flirt."

quackity flopped onto his bed exhausted from the events that took place earlier. he pulled out his phone seeing he had a message on discord. it was from george.

"i wonder what he wants .. maybe talk to me about his date with dream" quackity said to himself obviously annoyed.

he opened the message expecting the regular conversations they had which were about stupid stuff like what they should eat that day. but this message wasn't like that at all.

hey quackity wanna hang out tomorrow ? i know it's sudden but maybe we could just have some fun and go out somewhere :]
