Jungkook's POV

Getting off from the hospital, into the back door and into the car, we drove home after my wounds were dressed. It was hard to drive with a wound at the back, but what can I do? Whether Y/n can drive or not, I can never trust her to drive the car for me and with me.

The thought of Y/n getting closer to me now - now talking and even took care of me...made me feel really bad for leaving her and them in the first place. 'Patience is the key' they said. But would you be patient enough to wait when you're already heartbroken, mad, upset, and all the bad emotions? A child can't even wait to get a simple little candy as treat and throw a fit, let alone an adult in a complicated relationship situation.

Walking inside the house like I'm fine, Minhoo and Minhan were already seated on the couch whispering about. Upon hearing the door, they both snapped their heads towards us and whistled around. You know, when you see in the cartoons when the characters are being sneaky and pretends they did nothing by whistling around...? I'll just pretend I knew nothing at all if that makes their boat float.

"Have you both washed up already?" I asked them and sat on the couch beside them before they hopped off, which had me confused.

"Yeah!! Mommy washed us up!!" Minhan replied and walked away. Her feet stomping onto the floor in a cute way, unlike the usual bratty stomps she makes. "I'm gonna play barbie, bye!!"

Okay? Since when did she start to play barbie alone?

"Minhoo, where are you going?" I asked him as I spotted him walking up the stairs tip-toeing in a quiet manner, as if never wanted to be caught. Why are my children acting weird???

"I'm going to my room to do my homework..." he spoke lowly and continued to walk up the stairs.

"You don't want Daddy to help you with your homework?" I asked, to which I got a head shake in reply.

"No, Daddy. I'm a big boy now. I can do my homework alone," and he ran up the stairs.

Ouch... Does he even know it hurts to hear him say he's a big boy now? I don't want him to grow up, God, why is he growing up so fast??

"What's wrong?" Y/n asked as she walked around the house picking up the kids' toys cluttered around the livingroom floor. I just shook my head and looked down at my fiddling hands...

"Y/n, can we talk...?" I asked and looked up at her to still see her pacing around picking up toys and putting them somewhere, organizing them.

"We're talking, aren't we...?" she replied as she closed the cabinet at the corner of the room and went to the table infront of me, picking up the tangled headset.

"Not just this kind of talk..." I trailed off. "I mean...about this."

"Elaborate, please."

"Y/n, I mean to talk about our relationship," she paused and turned back to look at me as she's now infront of the tv, putting the headset inside a drawer. She clasped her hands together and rubbed her palms, before biting down her lip as she nodded her head.
