Lucy's POV:

We were driving down the road with the radio on low. Tyler was playing songs off his phone, I was hoping his songs would play. I'm sure though if they did, he'd skip them because you know, they're "secret". I looked at Tyler. He was concentrated on the road, his breathing was uneven though. His grip on the steering wheel was pretty tight. Judging by his body language, he looked nervous. I smiled finding it very cute. I reached over and laid my hand on his thigh. He glanced at me hand, then me. He smiled and looked back at the road.

"Is the Tyler Carter I know, who has been with so many girls and performs infront of a millions of fans, nervous?"

He smiled and chuckled. He shook his head but then hesistated and nodded,

"I'm a bit nervous. I mean, I'm taking my best friend out on a date. Something I've wanted to do for 2 years. I just...I don't want to mess it up. I want tonight for you to be special."

I felt myself blush. I've never seen Tyler acting this sweet. I smiled whilst looking down, then I looked at him again.

"You don't have to be nervous, Tyler. And, you don't have to try too hard to make a night special for me, being with you is special enough."

With that, Tyler took a hand off the steering wheel and grabbed my hand that was on his thigh and held it.

"Oh Lucy, you really don't know how much you're worth then."

I bit my lip,

"How much am I worth to you Tyler?"

I asked softly, he glanced at me then the road again. We came up to a red light.

"Baby love, a girl like you, you deserve to be treated like a princess."

He looked at me,

"You deserve the world in my opinion."

"But you still haven't answered my question."

I said quietly, now I was growing nervous. I felt Tyler's thumb glide over my knuckles. I saw him smirk showing his perfect teeth a bit.

"Lucy Marie, you're worth everything to me. No other girl could turn heads like you do."

I looked down blushing hard, I felt Tyler's finger under my chin. He lifted my chin. I looked up at him feeling a bit breathless.

"Don't ever look down when you're blushing, you look cute when you blush."

The light flashed green. Tyler smiled and put a hand on the wheel and drove off. I heard the radio playing Let Me Love You by Mario. I smiled holding back a laugh. We were quiet for another 10 minutes. I sighed wondering where he was taking us.

"Derek Tyler, where are taking us?"

I blurted,

"Well, my dear, we're heading to The Copper Pot."

I smiled wide. He saw and smiled. Does he remember?!!

"Tyler-"

"I know, I took you there when I got to know you."

I smiled, he remembers.

Tyler's POV:

We pulled up to the restaurant, I turned the car off and got out. I walked over and opened her door, she looked up at me smiling. Damn, she's beautiful. I offereed her my hand and she took it as she stepped out of the car. Once we were inside, we were seated right away. And yes, if you're asking, I did pull her chair for her and I took her jacket off for her. Yes, I'm a gentleman. The light in the room was hitting her just right. I smiled at her when I sat down smiling like a dork. She was fixing her dress, she slowly looked up at me.
