The friend group, Phantom Thieves has a bit of an issue. Don't get them wrong. They love the delinquent duo. They are the sun of their little group. The comic relief, and the one who brightens up the mood, and they appreciate that. They truly do.

Sakamoto is spunky and brash. But he is the nicest and most loyal probably out of all of them. Being the second member of their little group, he is a delight to be around. He is also a good friend. He is the type to stand up for you when you are in danger, even if he will endanger himself in the process.

It might come as a surprise, but this dude is self-aware when it comes to what people are feeling, and is usually the first person to approach you when he noticed you are in some kind of distress. He is good at picking at everyone's emotions(there are some select few that don't go into these circles) although he is not good when it comes to advise, usually giving reckless nonsense that might worsen the situation, the thought of him caring is special enough. He is also self-aware that he is not good at it. And he knew that his friends knew that he cared for them.

While, Y/n... well, he is a special case. While both of them are delinquents. He is more... of an actual delinquent. He beat up gangs on abandoned alleyways and he finds excuses to fight if possible. He is ruder than Sakamoto, meaner while talking. He is the last one to join their group, and possibly the longest one to willingly join them. But the Phantom Thieves realize that he is born this way. A boy with a foul mouth, with some type of enjoyment, when beating someone up. He is not a kind person per se, but he will not fight someone that he knew that can't stand him or someone who is innocent. He wanted a challenge, a thrill when fighting. Knowing the opponent is the same strength as you(or stronger in terms of attributes, rumors, and first impressions.) And he won in the end. That is his enjoyment. The thrill of fighting. The journey, not the win itself(although it is a bonus if he won) the destination.

While Sakamoto is good at picking up emotions, Y/n is the one that gives good advice. He was empathetic, kinder than they thought. They never thought this'll happen, the mother of the group is the person that can fuck you up if you steal his precious things. Morgana learns that the hard way but let's not talk about that-

While these two weren't really blended well when they are in each others' presence. While Sakamoto can't tolerate how cold and violent the new addition to their little huddle while Y/n just hates him because Sakamoto hates him first. They didn't mix well, oftentimes they felt the need to separate them into two different rooms for them to calm down. It is certainly tiring. But after one faithful day, these two just hit it off. You can't see the other without his partner. They became inseparable, and the group didn't know what happened, and not one of them wanted to tell them what happened(even Akira) But their happy about the outcome nonetheless.

But, after months of being together, they noticed something between the two...

They are pining at each other and the other can not fucking get the hint.

While some of the members weren't ignorant on how pressuring and embarrassing it is to confess, but when it is this obvious? This is just embarrassing. The way the two glance at each other and later then blush is cute. But it just gets tiring when you see it all the time. When their hands accidentally touch and quickly pull it. It is pathetic.

The group tries their very hardest to help without being too obvious. Trust me, they tried their damn hardest than cramming on the test in one sitting while the exams are due tomorrow. They tried hooking them up, tripping one of them to fall on the other arms, mistletoe after mistletoe on Christmas, and Every. Single. Time. They. Fucking. Tried. 

At this point, they gave up trying and just watch what will happen in their future while their present selves suffer the sight of two dense ass mofos.

There are many things that the duo will tell them that sound just like them. Doing something dumb, beats someone up, stay up all night while trying to steal tickets from the arcade. It sounds just like them. Just dumb teenagers doing dumb stuff, no big deal.

But this, this is a big deal. When they are cramped on the small abandoned rooftop because the duo called all of them at the top. They can not believe they have the privilege to see the cold interior of Y/n crumble in front of them. His cheeks are pink and swaying on his feet. His hands are resting inside his pockets that are noticeably shaking and in a fist(in which surprisingly didn't look like he is angry or something, in which most of the time he did that pose, he is always angry.) While Sakamoto has the biggest dumb nervous grin that they have ever seen. He is literally jumping on his heels. His cheeks are also pink.

And the declaration that they said turns them into a chaotic mess.

"We have been dating for a while and we noticed that ya'll are acting strange. We thought ya'll notice our relationship and aren't really okay with it, so we stayed silent. We saw ya'll doing some strange stuff too. Y/n said you guys wanted to set us up together. I got confused. But we are dating! And we love each other so much no one can break us apart!"
