- Anna's Pov -
My first morning in my new home was great. I didn't have to get up early to be the first one to use the shower, and i didn't have to cook everyone's breakfast, which was nice. I have been sitting in my kitchen enjoying the peace and quiet while drinking my cup of coffee, but the peace and quiet didn't last long because dad comes storming through the front door without even knocking. The first thing i notice is his worried and stressed face, and then i smell his scent, which is mixed with the bloodsucker scent. I know he is stressed because that Edwerido boy has been inside the house at night again. He walks straight past me to stand in front of the coffee machine and pours himself a coffee. Then he grabs my hand and literally drags me into the living room where he slumps on the couch. I sit down next to him, raising my eyebrow because he has never dragged me before, so whatever he has to say must be very important. I sigh and open my mouth to say something, but he holds his hand up silently, telling me not to.
"I called a meeting." He blurts out
"With who?" I ask, confused
"The la push elders so Billy and Sue i gave them a fake name though." He said, looking at me worriedly
"Why, dad? You told me we had to keep this a secret. We are the only panther shape-shifter's left." I said, getting worried
"I did it because your imprint is one of their kind. You need to be with him, and if i have to spill out our secret, so be it." He said strongly
"He looked panicked, dad. I doubt he wants me he didn't even say hello to me." I said the worry now, leaving my body and sadness taking over
"He's in shock, princess to him. We smell human he is probably scared of hurting you or you getting hurt because of who he is." He said, trying to calm me before i become an emotional mess
"Fine, god damn it, when is this meeting anyway." I said, knowing i won't win against him
"In twenty minutes at Billy's." He said worriedly again
