- Anna's Pov -
Sue nods and runs inside, and i cuddle closer into dad's side it. It all rides on me imprinting on Emily. That is what stands in the way of me being happy and having the family i have always dreamed of. Tears roll down my cheeks, causing Billy's eyes to widen. He knows i hardly cry, so seeing me cry now is a shock for him. Dad starts purring at me, and i know his inner panther is trying to calm me down. I can see Billy wheel over to us in the corner of my eye, and my heart hammers in my chest. It doesn't take long for his wheelchair to be directly in front of us, and mine and his knees are touching. Dad sits me up just as Billy leans forward and wipes my tears away, then he pulls me onto his lap so my legs are over the side bars. I smile a little at this because i used to always sit on his lap growing up, and right now, i need that same comfort. I wrap my arms around his neck as he wheels back to the other side of the fire with dad following us. Dad sits on the log next to Billy's wheelchair and stares at the fire that is popping and crackling as it burns. I curl into a ball against Billy's chest and sob as he rubs my back with one hand and runs his fingers through my hair with the other. I continue to try and sob loudly, feeling like my dream of having an imprint and family will never come true. Sam would never want me when he already has an imprint. I won't be surprised if he rejects me because he already has someone to love.
"He won't want me, dad. He will reject me." I whimper out
"It's going to be okay, princess. I'm positive." Dad said, trying to be all positive for me
"He is right dear Sam won't reject the imprint bond he knows how sacred it is. He is just in shock, that's all." Billy said softly, then kissing my forehead
"I just want my happy ending." I said in between sobs
"He is on his way, and knowing him, he will shift and carry Emily here on his back." I hear Sue say from other side of me and Billy
"Billy, you know why Anna is like this. You do remember what her number one dream is." Dad said softly. I feel him kiss the top of my head
"Yes, i do she wants a family and to be happy." Billy said, holding me tighter to him
