- Chapter 7: Final Warning -

- Anna's Pov -

I nod my head slowly, and he lets go of me. Then he watches me closely as i walk over to my bed. I carefully lay next to Emily but not to close since the ice packs are in my way. I lean over and kiss her cheek, letting her know i'm here next to her because she still has her eyes tightly closed. I lay on my side, ready to protect Emily, and my eyes drift over to the balcony every now and then in case any danger comes through there. I know Jacob and Paul won't let them vamp anywhere near my cabin, but my instincts are till on high alert, wanting to keep both my imprint's safe. If Emily didn't need me right now, i would have jumped off that balcony and attacked them vampires myself. They are on Quileute tribe territory, and they must have broken whatever treaty they had with Sam's pack.

"I'll go help Jacob and Paul." Dad suddenly said, making me bolt up right on the bed in panic

"No, no, dad, they don't know about us. If they see you, they will hurt you, and i won't be there to protect you! I can't lose you, dad! I can't!" I said in panic

"I will stick to the shadows like i always do. You need to stay here with Emily she needs you more, and you won't lose me, princess. I know i am old, but i still have a few tricks up my sleeve. Can one of you guys phase and tell Jacob or Paul i'm coming so they don't attack me?" Dad said, trying to ease my panic, and it did a little. I know dad is very good at hiding in the shadows.

"I will." Jared said, jumping off the balcony.

"Please be careful, dad, please, i can't lose you." I said, not liking this at all. Jared jumped back in and nodded his head to dad.

"I am always careful, and you won't lose me, princess." He said with a smile

"Make sure to stick to the shadows." I said worriedly

"I will stick to them like flame to a fire." He said, smirking

He comes over kisses my forehead, then jumps off the balcony phasing into his panther mid jump, landing gracefully on the ground. I giggle as i watch him shake out his fur he makes eye contact with me and purrs loudly, then he runs off into the trees. I look over at everyone and giggle when i see their shocked faces. They turn to me with wide eyes, and then they look at Sam, almost like they are silently asking if i am like my dad. Sam nods his head at them with a smug smile that makes them stare at me again. I sigh and lay back down next to Emily. Now, they are probably going to have some choice of words about me being the luna of their pack since i'm different.

- Charlie's Pov -

I jump off the balcony phasing into my panther form, and then i look at my little Annie one more time. I follow Jacob and Paul's scent it leads me five minutes away from the cabin. I duck for cover behind a bush, which gives me enough room to see what's going on without being seen. That's when i Edward stood there with Bella next to him, and she looked worried. How the hell did they know where the cabin was, and that good for nothing vamp better not have followed us here because if he did, i would gladly rip his head off. I tilt my big panther head to the side just enough to see Paul in his wolf form, who is staring at Bella with two emotions in his eyes. Then there is Jacob in human form talking to Edward or Edwin as i like to call him. I use my enhanced hearing to listen to their conversation, making sure that my Anna is safe.

"What are you doing on our land?" Jacob said to Edward

"Bella is worried about her sister after hearing chief swan on the phone talking to Billy saying something had happened so she wanted to make sure everything was alright and begged me to come with her, can't you let me pass just once." He said, faking concern. I can tell it's fake because i can smell it!

"One question how did you know where Anna's cabin is." Jacob said with a raised eyebrow and arms folded against his chest. That's what i want to know, too, jake!

"I followed Chief Swan's scent." He said, which is bullshit because i don't have a scent he must have followed me

"Well, Edward cut the shit, we all know Charlie doesn't have a scent." Jaocb said in a matter of fact tone

"What!" Bella said, glaring at Edward

"Fine, i followed Charlie when he left." He said in defeat

"You followed my dad!" Bella said angrily

"You have been on our lands TWICE!" Jacob snarled as he began to shake with anger

Paul growls while snapping his jaws, then goes behind a bush, and he is probably phasing back to protect his alpha and luna's. I move forward slightly still in the shadows and let out a soft growl, letting Paul and Jacob know i am here. I know Edward probably heard, but he couldn't smell me he probably thinks i'm another pack member, thanks to the wolf smell coming off Paul and Jacob.

"What is going on anyway? Why are you all in her cabin? Why was she cuddled up to Sam?" He asked, sounding pissed and curious

"None of your business leech!" Paul snarls coming out of the bush eyes locked on the veggy vamp

Just please tell me that Anna and dad are okay, please." Bella pleaded, looking worried

"They are fine, Bella. I promise we are all just helping Anna with something, that's all." Jacob said, trying to calm her down

"Your boyfriend won't be okay if he comes on our land again to spy on Anna or us." Paul snaps still watching Edward, and something is going on with him is more snappy than normal

"Let's get you home, Bella." Edward said, sending Paul and Jacob a look that silently says this isn't over

"Yes, Charlie will be home soon, and he won't be happy that you're in the woods Bella you know he hates that." Jacob said, making it known i will be back soon

"Jacobs right, Edward, let's go." Bella said, panicked

"You're hiding something, and i will find out what it is!" He whispers so Bella can't hear him, but me, Jacob, and Paul do, which ends up with us growling.

"Get off our land final warning!" Paul snarls still staring Edward down

"Okay, okay." He said, then picked up Bella, and in a blink of an eye, they were gone, making me growl again. He better be careful with my little girl!
