It was 3 in the morning. and we had driven 2 states. we were in wachington, we had talked never little. I asked where we were going but all i got was 'canada'. I wasn't very worried, i was just in shock.

"okay so we are all tired, i'm pulling over. I think we all could use some sleep in a gross motel." said Cassie. I glanced over the bench seat and looked at Tag. He was passed out, his face was very relaxed. He was so dam atractive. I layed down as i felt Cassie pull off the highway. I stayed still and waited for Cassie and Emery to get out of the car and head to the office and get us two rooms. When they were gone i thought it would be the right time to wake up Tag. I reached over and pulled myself so i was on my knees arms crossed and leaning on the benck back rest. I rested my head on my arms and looked at him for a second more tring to memorize his face while he was sleep. I reached out my hand and poked him in the cheek. His face was rough with stuble. He jurked up and almost head butted me.

"hello there." i said leaning back and sitting back on my heals. I wrapped my arms around my chest and leaned beack down to lay down.

" hi, um where are Cassie and Emery?" he asked looking around the car and running his hands through his hair.

"their getting two rooms for us. Cassie couldn't drive any longer and everyone but her and i were already asleep."i said pulling my hair back into a pony tail.

"okay." he said and pulled on his shoes that had been laying on the floor since the oregon statline. I saw Cassie and Emery walking back from the office and went to grab my stuff and realised that i had only my bag of clothes and hand bag i carried everywhere with me. I grabbed my dark blue duffle and my side bag, and got out of the car. Realising i had no idea how long it would be till i saw the cozy lavender walls of my room back in Napa. I felt my nose burn with the first feeling of almost crying.

The trunk door was open and i looked up since my foot was leaning on it and i toppled out and into firm sturdy arms. I held tightly to my bags and turned to the guy who was holding me. Tag was looking me straight in the eye. We stared at each other, I inspected every grove in his beautifully green yellow irises. We heard a cough and emissary he set me down and reached up to pat down a stray hair, his hand an inch away from my cheek. I leaned into his hand and my face touched his hand. my face grew warm and I smiled slightly. I felt comfortable, I forgot all about my dad and the blood. everything was blank my he touched my cheek.

"Okay so we have two adjoining rooms. I'm staying with emery, so you guys have the other room." Um EXCUSE ME? i thought.

"What's are number?"asked Tag. I stared at him with an open mouth. He was okay with sharing a room with me?

"um. . ."i said but was cut off by Cassie.

"here are your keys, see you in the morning." she said and threw the keys to tag, he swiped them out of the air. He turned and grabbed a duffle i assumed was his. I grabbed my duffle and my truck, because who are you without your books. He walked toward the building, he looked up and down the building. He headed for the stairs and heading up i followed. He looked at each door until he stopped and i didn't stop in time, so i ran into his back. He looked at me and i took a step back.
