"dates"

i love dates.
whether is it someone's birthdate,
the release of your examination results,
or the day of a package arriving.

dates show when efforts will come into fruition.
i wish reciprocation had a date.
that way, i wouldn't have to speak to the stars,
asking to have your heart one day.
