As Riley got closer to the school she noticed more and more people she began to worry when she looked up at the school.

(Fear) "Are you sure we want to do this?" (Joy) "in we go!" (Fear) "okay! Going in! Yes!"

Riley walked into the school full of confidence and a smile on her face.

Riley sat down in her seat looking down at her desk she nervously looked around her eyes landed on a group of four girls (Girl with skull shirt) "Did you see her? Hello!".

(Disgust) "okay, we've got a group of cool girls at two o'clock." Joy looked at her (Joy) "how do you know?" (Disgust) "Double ears pierced, infinity scarf." The girl with brown hair and a blue fringe turned around (Joy) "whoa. Is she wearing eye shadow?" (Disgust) "yeah, we wanna be friends with them." (Joy) "let's go talk to them!"

(Disgust) "are you kidding? We're not talking to them. We want them to like us." (Joy) "oh. Yeah. Wait, what? Hey! Isn't that the mystery girl!" Fear had just put down a stack of papers before him and The others looked at the screen.

The door opened and the girl walked in (Eye shadow girl) "hey (y/n), what's up?" {(y/n)} "eh, nothing much I overslept." (Skull shirt girl) "the usual then." (Y/n) let out a fake gasp and did a fake offended pose {(y/n)} "I can't believe you guys think so little of me!" The group burst out into laughter and Riley's heartbeat increased but being the dumb idiots they are the emotions didn't notice.

(Y/n) put her bag down at her seat before walking back to the group and leaning against the wall.

Fear gained everyone's attention again (Fear) "Anyway I'm almost finish with the potential disasters. Worst scenario is either quicksand, spontaneous combustion, or getting called on by the teacher. So as long as none of those happen..."

The teacher came in and everyone got into their seat (Teacher) "okay, everybody. We have a new student in class today."

Fear panicked and knocked over all the papers (Fear) "are you kidding me? Out of the gate? This is not happening!"Fear grabbed Joy's face and shook her face.

The teacher looked towards Riley (Teacher) "Riley, would you like to tell us something about yourself?" (Y/n) looked over at Riley {(y/n)} 'Riley, that's a nice name.'

(Fear) "no! Pretend we can't speak English." Fear looked up at Joy with pleading eyes (Joy) "Don't worry. I got this." Joy pulled on a few levers and pressed a few buttons.

(Riley) "uh...okay." Riley stood up and everyone else turned to look at her (Riley) "my name is Riley Andersen. I'm from Minnesota and now I live here." The four other cool kids looked at Riley in a judging way Making Riley look at them before looking at (y/n).

(Teacher) "And how about Minnesota? Can you tell us something about it? Well, you certainly get a lot more snow than we do." The teacher let out a laugh and Riley focused her attention away from (y/n).

Joy laughed and leaned against the control panel (Joy) "she's hilarious!" Joy pulled a lever back and forth while laughing.

(Riley) "yeah, it gets pretty cold. The lake freezes over, and that's when we play hockey. I'm on a great team we're called the Prairie dogs. My friend Meg plays forward and my dads the coach."

All the emotions except sadness stood at the control panel watching the screen joy clicked a button and the a memory played in Riley's head.

(Riley) "pretty much everyone in my family skates. It's kind of a family tradition. We go out on the lake almost every weekend."

The memory started turning blue and the others looked at the screen in shock .

(Riley) "or we did, till I moved away." Realisation hit Riley and sadness washed over her.

(Disgust) "hey, what gives?" (Fear) "wait,what?" They turned around to see sadness touching the memory sadness quickly jumped down (Joy) "Hey, sadness! You touched a memory? We talked about this." (Sadness) "oh, yeah, I know. I'm sorry."

Joy let out a sigh fJoy) "Get back in your circle. What's going on?" Joy kept pressing the button but the memory wouldn't disappear (Joy) "why won't it eject?" (Fear) "get it out of there, Joy."

Riley sniffled and her eyes started watering (Riley) "we used to play tag and stuff."

(Disgust) "cool kids whispering at three o'clock!"

Two of the girls were whispering to each other before whispering over to (y/n) they all looked over at Riley with weird looks on their face except (y/n) who just gave Riley a sympathetic look.

(Fear) "Did you see those looks?" (Joy) "oh, no." (Fear) "they're judging us!" Joy ran over to the memory and tried to take it out the others all pulled on her trying to help (Joy) "somebody help me! Grab that... everybody put...." Sadness ran over to the control panel.

(Riley) "But everything's different now. Since we moved." Riley tried to hold back her tears but let out a sniffle catching fears attention.

(Fear) "oh, no! We're crying! At school!" Fear ran around in a panic making joy look over to see sadness at the control panel (Joy) "what? Sadness! What are you doing?" Joy grabbed the memory pulling it down and throwing it to the side and grabbing sadness taking her away.

(Sadness) "oh, no! Oh, I'm sorry!" Everyone looked over to see a blue core memory come out (Feat) "it's a core memory!" (Disgust) "But it's blue." Everyone gasped (Joy) "no! Wait! Stop it! No! Ah! No!" Joy opened the core memory holder and took it out she pressed the button with her foot waiting for the tube to come.

(Sadness) "Joy, no. That's a core memory!" Sadness tried to take the memory out of Joys hand (Joy) "Hey! Stop it! Let go!" (Sadness) "Joy. Wait!" Joy ran into the other core memories knocking them all out and all the islands stopped running.

(Fear) "Ah! The core memories!"
