Third person POV
A couple of years later Riley had grown up to a toddler and was running around the house with a trolley type thing.
A purple emotion came out from behind joy who was taking control of Riley
"very nice. Okay, looks like you got this. Very good. Who. Sharp turn! No!look out! No!" The purple exclaimed
Fear gently pushed joy out the way and pulled on the levers making Riley come to a stop
"that's fear. He's really good at keeping Riley safe."
Riley stopped and carefully stepped over the wire
"Easy, easy. Ah!" Fear said
Riley had completely stepped over the wire
"oh, we're good. We're good." Another bell chimed and a purple memory rolled out lining up next to the others.
Joy gently clapped
"whew! Good job." Sadness said
"Thank you. Thank you very much." Fear said holding his hands in the air
Joy gently shoved fear out the way and took control again "and we're back!"
Riley continued to run around her cart/trolley thing tugging on the wire knocking over a lamp shattering it.
Bill picked up Riley and carried her over to the dining table putting her down gently on the high chair her mum put on her green polka-dot bib and her dad put down this white tray thing (idk what it is) in front of her when he had done that her mum put a bowl of broccoli in front of her.
Bill grabbed a spoonful of broccoli and slowly moved it towards Riley
"here we go. All right, open."bill said
Joy put her finger on her chin in a thinking position "hmm. This looks new."
"you think it's safe?" Fear asked concerned
"what is it?"sadness asked
"ahhh."bill said opening his mouth
A green emotion walked over to them "okay, caution. There is a dangerous smell, people."
Disgust wafted them away and stood at the control panel noticing what Riley was seeing
"hold on. What is that?"she asked
"this is Disgust. She basically keeps Riley from being poisoned. Physically and socially."
Disgust got a closer look of the spoonful of broccoli "that is not brightly coloured or shaped like a dinosaur. Hold on,Guys. It's broccoli."
Disgust covered her mouth stopping herself from throwing up she pressed one of the buttons.
Riley looked away in disgust knocking the bowl of broccoli over some pieces hitting her dad in the face.
A bell chimed/dinged and a green memory rolled out lining up next to the purple one Disgust flipped her hair with a proud look on her face "well, I just saved our lives."
"whew!" Fear and sadness both let out
Joy put her hands on her hips giving disgust a proud look.
"yeah. You're welcome."disgust said
"Riley , if you don't eat your dinner, you're not gonna get any dessert." Bill stated
A small red emotion was reading a newspaper that had the title 'NO DESSERT !' He lowered the newspaper "wait. Did he just say we couldn't have dessert?"
