Roman's P.O.V
"Do you know anything about doppelgängers?" Lizzie asked as we walked down the hall.
"Elena and Katherine were doppelgängers." I said, confused.
"Okay, well they apparently weren't the only ones." Lizzie said.
"What? How do you know?" I asked.
Lizzie didn't respond, only to walk into Alaric's office as he looked up at us while putting down the book he was reading.
"We have a major problem."
Hope's P.O.V
As I slept in bed, I suddenly jolted awake and vamp sped to the bathroom to empty out my stomach. But to my surprise, I was vomiting blood. With tears in my eyes, I tried cleaning up the toilet as best I could until another wave hit me and blood splattered all over.
"What's wrong with me?" I cried.
Roman's P.O.V
"Wait, hold on. You're saying that Hope is a doppelgänger?" I asked.
"I didn't think it was possible considering Elena was the last one but back in 1847, there was a witch that had gone undetected, probably not to get killed." Alaric said. "After the witch trials, Siege, had a peaceful life for herself until she met her vampire lover, Mikael."
"So, Hope is a descendant from Siege?" I asked, making sure I had everything correct.
"Since Mikael never truly loved her, Siege put a curse on him that when he loved again, his offspring will have the werewolf curse."
"Hence Klaus and all his siblings." Lizzie said.
"Well, right now, my wife is looking like shit. So what the hell did her father do to her!" I said, angrily.
"I'm not sure, but we'd better get to Hope before it's too late." Alaric said.
