Harry's POV:
I stumble a bit as I back up, my eyes not leaving the clock. All of a sudden a face appears, it was a hooded figure and its head was down not revealing its face. I steady myself as I realized who it was, it was the unknown. She was in a black cloak that ran from her hood to her ankles, she looked like a shadow and the only thing that illuminated itself was the time turner. The time turner was still the same except this time it ticked 4 times faster, and so did my heart. I stared at it and it glowed, it looked as if it was broken, at that moment I sensed that something about it was about to go wrong. All of a sudden my mind went blank, all the muffled sniffles were muted and all I could hear was the voice of the unknown she whispered my name in repeat over and over again. I felt like I was going sane until I squeezed my eyes shut at the overwhelming voice, I opened my eyes again and saw my friends. We were all older, it was bright and sunny. A rush of joy filled me as I felt a weight being lifted, everything just felt so right all of a sudden. I rushed over to my friends waving my hands in the air trying to get their attention, they seemed to ignore me. I lightly placed my hand on Ginny's shoulder and my hand went right through. "It was an illusion," I thought to myself. My eyes darted from one person to another getting a good look at their faces, but I realized that I and Rose were missing. I looked over at Draco who had his arm around me brunette, it took me a moment to realize it was a Slytherin girl who I believe was Astoria Greengrass. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I looked over to a young 11-year-old with platinum blonde hair, it looked exactly like Draco, and that is when it hit me that this was a reality where I and Rose didn't exist. I looked around and that Ginny was all alone, all my children were not even born. Tears started to well in my eyes as I realized what could be happening, I was in the future. Moments later I heard a faint tick get louder and louder by the second and as the last one rang its last tick I was back. All my friends were still in their early thirties and they were all on the ground consoling Draco.
Rose slowly lifted her head from Draco's shoulder and mouthed, "I felt it too." Her eyes stung with tears as I mouthed back "We need to talk." Draco seemed to have consoled himself as Rose helped him stand up.
Harry- "We need to talk..."
Rose opened her mouth to talk but nothing came out.
Rose's POV:
One second my voice was fine the next it was gone. As soon as I was about to explain what happened I couldn't get it out of my mouth. I ran to Harry.
"Harry, my voice disappears every time I try to talk about it."
Harry- "Mine too, I think it's something that can't be heard by others."
Rose- "I have never come across a curse like this, it's like they are trapping us in a world almost."
Harry- "Yeah, and you saw the "future" right?"
Rose- "Sadly I think that's a possible future that could become a reality."
Harry- "But why would the unknown want us to...to see the future?"
Rose- "I don't know....., but I am just hoping they are not bringing that to reality."
Harry- "It's not just that, the time turner started ticking four beats per second. Troubles coming and we don't have much time till 4:00 pm.
Rose- "But how do we stop it, we are falling for the riddle right now. The unknown is steps ahead of us, she is not making this up as she goes. It's already been set in stone, she started it at 1:00 pm and let it run by itself."
Harry- "Maybe there is a way we can predict or track it, let's take a look at the map. Maybe it has something to do with the locations?"
Rose- "Good idea."
