"Hello." Came a deep voice from behind me, "are you the girl Louis mentioned?"

"No," I heard Louis say, "the other stranger sitting in the living room!"

Sarcastic little snot, he was.

"Oh shut it, I was just checking!" The deep voice replied.

A young man, younger than Louis even though he was taller, walked around the side of the couch I was perched on.

"My names Harry." He grinned, showing off his perfect white teeth. His curly hair flopped messily down into his green eyes.

Things were starting to make sense. "Oh, are you two? I get it, so your family is.... Are are you er, sorry, I just wasn't expecting?"

"Hahahahaha! OH MY NO NO Hahahahahaha!" Harry laughed, "we aren't gay! Phew oh my, hahahahaha no we are just friends!"

"With benefits" winked Louis as he joined us again, followed by 3 other teenage boys.

Okay, so maybe things weren't making any sense. I have never heard of five boys sharing a flat, and I also didn't know any five boys could afford a flat like this one! The other three boys Louis had brought in were quite different looking from himself and Harry.

The first one was blonde, though you could see brown at the roots. His hair was gelled up into a 'quiff'. He wore a plain blue polo shirt and brown trousers that hung a little too low, showing that he was also wearing four leaf clover pants. Odd.

The next had dark brown hair, also in a quiff, and he had really long eyelashes. The eyes behind were a deep brown, and he looked like some kind of jock in his varsity jacket and jeans.

The third had very short hair, but it looked like he was starting to grow it back out or something. He wore a plaid shirt and plain trousers. His eyes were kind, and intelligent.

"Meet Niall, Zayn and Liam." Said Harry in his low, slow, voice.

"Nice to meet you." I said.

"You too," said Niall, "but I didn't catch your name love?"

Irish. One Irish guy and four British? Now I was really confused. Not that Irish people were uncommon in England, just that it added to the puzzle I was in.

"My name is Jay." I said and smiled at him, "I'm a photographer."

"So we heard!" added Liam, "I hope you will be working with us!"

Zayn looked confused, "Louis, you said she didn't know who we are?"

Louis sighed, "Yes that's what I said, Zayn, but now we have to explain it to her because she obviously is going to want to know now." I was starting to get the feeling that all of them were slightly insane. Perhaps this wasn't a good idea after all...

Ya, what was I thinking?

Me, a girl from the streets, get lucky and find a normal job?

As if.

"Er, sorry to interrupt." I interrupted the little squabble going on between Louis and Zayn, "But maybe this wasn't such a good idea. I'm just gonna go, I can stay at my aunts until I can get a job and my own ace to live, but thanks."

Liam looked stunned.

I got up and started walking to the door when I heard Liam say, "Jay, are you from the streets?"

I tensed, and spun.

"How...did...you um. How did you know?" I spluttered.

"Your jeans have duct tape holding them together and you just said that u were going to your aunts instead if home."
