I roll out of bed and go through my every day boring routine not really feeling up to work today but theres one thing that has me wanting to get to work fast.
I knock on my boss's door and wait for it to open he invites me in and I take a seat
"So y/n what's up"
"I have two things one about the light situation it should be fixed now there was just a bit of a problem with um the wires to the light"
"Ah that's great you fixed that all by yourself?"
"Yes I'm pretty handy when it comes to things like that"
"I should keep that in mind"
(Great just what I needed)
"My second thing is about the daycare its self um I have always wanted to work with kids is there any possible way I can move up from security guard to daycare attendant?"
The boss ponders this question for a moment before speaking
"I can see what there is and get back to you before the day ends until then just stick to security guard today"
"Thank you sir"
I walk out and beginning my long ass day.
Around my lunch break my boss walks over to me and sits down to my guess is to talke about daycare
"So y/n there is an opening for a helper if you want to move I can have that in by tonight and you will start tomorrow since it's not an all night situation it will have to be every day unless future warning that you won't be in on a day"
"Yes omg thank you sir this means a lot"
I jump from my seat to excited for the day to end.
Time skip
I jump in to my car and get to work as fast as I could I clock in and run to the daycare balcony I forgoten about the slide but no matter I slid down ready to play with some kids. I get out of the pit and noticed the lights aren't on yet so I walk to the desk and switch them on.
"HELLOOO! WELCOME BACK!"
"ahhh!"
"Sunny you need to work on sneaking up on people!"
He looks cunfused
"SUNNY??"
"Ohh I'm sorry do you not like that name I just like nicknames there fun to me"
"NO NO NOT AT ALL MISS Y/N I JUST NEVER HEARD THAT ONE BEFORE THE KIDS CALL ME MANY NAMES I DON'T MIND"
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE SO EARLY ANYWAY Y/N?"
"oh well I'm the new helper around here"
"NEW HELPER THAT MEANS I WILL GET TO SEE YOU MORE YAY!"
He picks me up and swings me around and right before he puts me down he stops and just looks at me.
"Uh sunny are you ok?"
"HMM OH YEAH SORRY JUST YOUR EYES THERE A BEAUTIFUL (your eye color) AND SEEM DARK AND SAD"
"Oh um thank you I think?"
He puts me down
"SO UP FOR A GAME OF HIDE AND SEEK THE KIDS SHOULDN'T GET HERE TILL A LITTLE LATER"
"Sure why not I will hide"
He turns around and starts to count with that I turn around and skan the room there is a place at the very top of the cage thing in a corner it's a small spot without thinking I slip in to it and instenly regret my choice. I can't move and it's dark I can't breath. I am just gonna have to wait till he finds me.
Sunny's pov
When I turn around she's gone I don't even know we're to being she is most likely in one of the tunnels.
I have searched for about a solid 10 min I am getting very worried.
"Y/N THIS ISN'T FUNNY I GIVE UP PLEASE COME OUT!!"
I here something faint like a cry of pain and fear I run in the detection it cam from and stood still
"Sunny please I'm stuck"
It's a raspy voice in the corner when I look it's y/n in tears cramped in a corner
"OH MY Y/N ITS OK I GOT YOU NOW"
Y/N pov
He picks me up and holds me as I sob in to is shoulder.he rubs my head and coos softly the softest I have ever heard him speak
"y/n it's ok breath sunshine I've got you"
I nuzzle in to his shoulder as the first kid arrives
