It's the dreaded annual holiday party at work, there are cheesy party games, forced fun, and a bunch of people who would rather be doing anything else. And, of course, there is a Secret Santa. Last week, each person had to draw a piece of paper from a hat. This would determine who they have to buy a gift for. As you drew the name of Tom Holland who came from the accounting department, your heart dropped. "Seriously?" You thought, "Out of all the people there were, you just had to pick him". Tom Holland is someone who you like to call, a wet blanket. Always knows how to ruin the vibe and knows how to spoils other people's fun by failing to join in and/or disapproving of their activities. You despised him so much, to you, he had no personality.

You kept saying to yourself, "I'll buy the gift later". But then as you kept saying that, you had come to a realization that the party was today and you still didn't have a present for Tom. You didn't know what to get him, and you definitely didn't want to spend that much money on his gift. You sighed, you were currently at the stationary store, buying/restocking your supplies. You finally decided to just get him a pack of colorful pens he would probably never use. You proceed to check-out and then head home.

As you were at your apartment, you quickly put the pack of pens in a gift bag and then change into an outfit that was more presentable for the party. You then also quickly realized that the part was in twenty minutes, so you rushed out of the door, hoping that you could make it on time so your boss doesn't get mad at you.

Luckily, you were just on time, everyone had their refreshments and they were just starting the gift exchange. You quickly sat down next to your mutual co-worker and listened to how the gift exchange would work. To sum it up, the coordinator of the party would take each gift, call out the name that was on the gift, and then give it to that person. The process was pretty simple.

As you were caught up in the delicious pink lemonade you had, your name was called. You looked up and the coordinator gave you your present. As everybody watched you open your Secret Santa gift, you plastered a big fake smile. As you ripped off the wrapping paper, you expected nothing exciting. But as you slowly identified the gift, your heart started racing and your facial expression changed to a genuine and beautiful smile. The gift was a snow globe that matches the one you had as a child but lost when you moved to college years ago.

How would somebody know about this? Who knows you this well? You look at the bottom of the snow globe and find a small handwritten note attached to it: "I hope you like this gift. It was difficult to find, but seeing you smile will be worth it. From your secret admirer <3" You smiled while reading it and then looked around the room, wondering who it could be but are left in the dark.

...

A few days has passed from the Secret Santa event, and you were still eager to find out who this secret admire of yours was. You were currently sitting at your desk, scheduling appointments, receiving and answering emails, and providing customer service. As you were working, you bit your lip in frustration. You needed to find out who this mystery person is. After much debating in your head, you finally got out of your chair and headed towards the manager's office.

You knocked on the door. The manager then said, "Come in!" and with that you entered. You greeted him and then asked him the question you were here for. "Good morning sir, um look so this is a question more on the non-professional side, but I was wondering if there was any way I could know who my Secret Santa was?" You asked, not expecting anything much, expecting your manager to laugh.
