Fitz's POV
I had already come to Everglen a little bit before the others, because Mom and Dad made me get the sleeping bags out the storage.
"Hey guys!" I greeted Sophie, Dex, Keefe, Marella and Biana from the gates of Everglen, home.
"Hey Fitz." Biana rushed from next to me with Sophie and Marella. Sophie smiled at me. Her smile is so beautiful. I don't think she has ever laughed.
"I laugh. Although never when you're around."
"Sophie! Was I transmitting?!"
"Mhm, unlike others I value privacy."
I chuckled. "Fitz, if you do that and don't speak anything, I will assume you're flirting with Sophie." Keefe announced.
"Are we going to stay here the whole rest of the night or are we going to go inside with the girls??" Dex asked. "Last one inside is a pile of vermillion poop!" I shouted and started bolting inside. "Hey!" I heard from behind me.
Keefe and Dex were inside at the exact same time. I walked upstairs to mine and Biana's living room where I had put the sleeping bags and where the girls were.
"Hey." Biana said. After we had settled down and changed into something a bit more comfortable. (Sweat pants and a t-shirt)
Marella asked: "Sophie do you know any more human games we can play?" "Well there is 7 minutes in heaven and spin the bottle." Sophie answered.
"Tell us how they go!" I said. "Well, in 7 minutes in heaven you in the closet with someone and just sit there-" Sophie started. "Sophie when will you learn that you can't lie to an empath?" Keefe said snickering.
"Ok, fine. You're supposed to make out with the other person for 7 minutes in the closet." Sophie revealed. Mine, Marella's and Dex's face twisted. Biana's eyes started shining and Keefe stayed serious. "And in spin the bottle, we spin the bottle and who ever it lands on need to kiss." Sophie explained.
"Let's play 7 minutes in heaven first!" Biana exclaimed. I frowned. I swear Biana will make me go with Sophie. What if she doesn't fell the same way, it will be so awkward.
"Children dinner!" Della shouted from downstairs. "We can play after dinner." I said running down the stairs.
Time to skip right before dinner is done.
"Sophie come outside soon after me, I have something to tell you."
"Ok"
"Thank you for dinner, I'm going to go outside to get some fresh air!" I excused myself.
After a minute or two Sophie came out the front door. "Hi." She said. "Hi back" I answered.
"I'm going to show you a place only me and my father know about, and then I'll tell you something important." I told Sophie taking her hand carefully. I gave her an asking look to make sure it was fine. She nodded, and I grabbed her hand more firmly. This feels good. I thought. I heard Sophie chuckle behind me. "What?" I asked turning around to see her. "Nothing" she said smiling her beautiful smile, it made the gold flecks in her eyes stand out.
As a large wooden door came to our sight, I let go of her hand and slowed my pace. When I opened the door I heard Sophie gasp: "Oh Fitz, it look absolutely magical!" There was a small waterfall going into the pond that reflected the full moon and shining stars. I sat on the edge of the pond signaling Sophie to come sit next to me. After Sophie had sat down I asked a question straight away: "Sophie, do you like me?"
A/N yes my chapters are rather short this one was ~596 words, but I possibly couldn't find a better spot to end this one. I promise I'll try to publish the 3rd chapter today. Again if you liked this chapter please comment and if you didn't tell me how I could make it better. Merry Christmas and Stay safe <3
