Chapter 12

A/N I bought an oversized t-shirt yesterday for 4,50 € and it's so stinking cute! 

      Sophie POV

"Alright guys, it's our last night, then we're going back home." I said at lunch. "Yeah it is." Biana said. "Guys, promise that we'll try to see each other as much as possible." Marella said. "Yeah  we promise." Dex said. "Pinky promise?" I say holding my pinky up. "What's a pinky promise?" Fitz asked, confused. My mouth flew open. For probably the millionth time during this sleepover.

"Here let me show you." I grabbed Fitz's hand and straightened his pinky, the I wrapped it around mine and shook my hand. "There, that's a pinky promise." "Ooohhh." Biana said. 

We all somehow managed to stuff our pinkies together, and then we shook our hands. 

We all started laughing, because Della walked in and stopped dead in her tracks and just stared at us. I bet we looked like psychopaths. The she started laughing too and went out the room but came back with a plate of custard bursts. "Thanks Ma." Biana said.

 Della nodded and walked out shouting for Alden. "Alden, get over here right now, I haven't seen your  whole day." Keefe started cracking up. We all looked at Keefe. "What Keefe." Dex said with a roll of his eyes. "I may have put an elixir in his bottle of Youth." "Keefe Cassius Sencen." I said. He stopped laughing at once. 

(Yes I know we don't know Keefes middle name but Cassius just seem relevant, just google "Keefe Sencen middle name" and you'll find a link at explains why Cassius is Keefes  middle name. Also you look gorgeous today! <3)

                "What.... Did...... You..... Put...... In..... His..... Water?" I asked, pausing between every word for effect. I learned it in the human world, if you pause between words you're more likely to get answers. "Well, I may or may not have put an elixir in the bottle that made his face furry." Keefe said cracking up. "Keefe...." Dex started all serious. "What?" Keefe asked still cracking up. 

"That elixir last for at least 2 weeks..." "Shit" Keefe stated. "Umm Keefe, Dad has a super important meeting tomorrow with super important people, he also has to speak to all the orges." Biana said looking worried. 

"But! Lucky for you Keefe we have a canceling elixir for every single elixir." Dex said. Keefe sighed in relief. Biana squealed "it's the perfect excuse to go shopping!" 

Della came in the room. "Did someone say shopping?" She giggled. "I'll let you guys go, just make sure to come back for dinner." "Yay thanks Mom!" Biana giggled and jumped up. "Let's go!" I groaned along side everyone else. 

Once we made it to the leap master 7000, Dex called Mysterium and we were in the streets of the city, surrounded by life. "Ok let's go get this potion and go to Atlantis." I said unenthusiastically. "Elixir." Biana corrected "This ain't no Harry Potter my friend." I laughed so hard, people started looking at me like I was a psychopath. 

"Ok let's just go." Keefe said and started dragging me while I was still laughing so hard that I was crying. "Omg Sophie are you fine?" Fitz asked. "Yes dumbass these are happy tears." I said wiping my wet face. Thank god Biana didn't make me wear make up today, I would look like a clown right now. 

We made it to Slurps and Burbs. I always liked how it looked. It remainded me of a candy shop, with its walls painted at least 20 different colors and it's crooked roof. I love it. Reminds me of San Diego and Amy. I should probably call her. I'm aloud to call her once a month, and she's come to the lost cities once a year for a few nights. All my friends including me call her Amy, I call her that instead of Natalie because I'm used to calling her Amy and my friends call her that because I call her Amy too.  

"Sophie you good, you've been staring at the shop for several minutes?" Marella asked, waving a hand up to my face. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine." I say shaking my head and putting in a smile. 

I opened the door and was greeted by Kesler. "Oh hello, how can I help you guys today?" "A.F.W.N.A.C.E." Dex said all the letters separately, like it was a code. "Dex, what did you say." Biana asked. "Alden fiasco we need a canceling elixir." Dex smiled at Biana and then looked back at Kesler. "Do you need me to get it?" Dex asked. "No, no, it's all good. Just looking at how grown up you all are." Kesler said with glassy eyes. 

"So which shops are we going to first?" Biana asked with a twinkle in her eye. "I don't know Biana, where ever  you want to?" I answer the last part more of a question.  "Well in that case we'll go to at least three make up stores and three clothing stores!" 

"For make up stores I was thinking Soleil beauty, Luxurova and Melian's corner. Clothing stores could be Aliwi Style, Royal Drop and De Sole clothing. Oh and I want to get new heels so, Koncept Shoes!" Biana giggled. "I have never heard of any of those, but as long as we get custard bursts, I'm all good." I said. Biana nodded at the same time as Kesler came from the back holding a small light green vial. "Here you go!" He said and handed it to Keefe who rushed toward it. 

"Kesler where is the closest Leapmaster?" Fitz asked. "Atlantis." "What? How are we supposed to go there then?" "I can teleport us there. I just need a cliff, Kesler are there any near here?" I said. "Yes! There is one right over here." He answered and led us through shelves upon shelves of vials and through the back door. I was the first to walk out and I halted to a stop making everyone pump into each other. 

"Come on Foster, why'd you stop." Keefe shouted from the back. I I would've stepped one more step I would've dropped. "Shut up Hunkyhair,everyone come into a row. And DO NOT push anyone." I said.

Once everyone was in a row at the edge of the cliff, we took each other's hands. Fitz on my right and Biana on my left, we jumped and I teleported us to the lively streets of Atlantis. "Oof" Biana said as she landed in her stomach, me on top of her. "Sorry Bi, I don't know how we landed so badly." When is good up I realized everyone was staring. 

"Guys let's go." Dex said and went around a corner leading to an alleyway. "Here's the plan, the mall is over there-" Dex pointed towards the ginormous building about 20 meters from the alleyway we were currently in. "-so we sprint in inside and then we go shopping." He said, like he was the Einstein of elves. "Or we just walk to the mall like normal people." Wylie said rolling his eyes. "Right..." Dex said. 

I was the first to start walking.

As Dex fell into step beside everyone else, me with Fitz's arm around me, Biana looking as dashing as ever, Wylie laughing at something Marella said with Marella and Keefe looking calm as ever deep in his thought, I realized I loved every single one of my best friends. Despite our flaws and fights, through thick and thin, we love each other and stay together. One day I group of love will be bigger, with kids, husbands, wives and grandkids, but it will always remain, full of love and life. We all loved each other. Truly.

A/N it's over  ;(  I really enjoyed writing this book, and I hope you  liked reading it as much! Even though my long break, I did it! I'm finished. Ofc there will be a few epilogues and short chapters and snippets of Sophie's life, like this shopping trip, or tpwhat Keefe told Sophie that made her forgive him. 

Now I need to pack. I'm leaving in ~ 32 hours and I aren't even half packed. Yeah... We're leaving to Switzerland! We have a nice cottage there, across from Verbier. Very nice place by the way, I recommend. I've been there pretty much every summer and winter since I was 2. I'm in middle school rn btw.
