A/N Hey guys, so I really wanted to thank -staysxnny- for voting in my chapters I really appreciate it! So to show my appreciation I'll dedicate this chapter to them! Happy readings!
Keefe POV
I'm sitting on a bench outside in the garden of Everglen fiddling with a little vial when I hear running and a girl bursts out of bushes. She beautiful. She has blonde hair and brown eyes with gold flecks. Which are filled with tears right now?
"Sophie, are you ok?" I ask. Her eyes are foggy as she turns to me but suddenly the fog goes away and she looks around as if she doesn't know where she is.
"No! I'm not ok!" She says sitting down. "Fitz dated Stina. For awhile." She says emphasizing the last word clearly quoting Fitz. I'm shook. "For real?" She nods. I pull her in for a hug. "It's gonna be ok." I say trying to comfort her, but I have an idea. This is the perfect time to give her the elixir. "Thanks Keefe. I really needed that hug." "Of course. Should we go get something to drink? I think you could really use some juice right now." I say getting up from the bench and extending my arm for Sophie. "Sure." She said taking my arm.
When we got to the dining room I told Sophie to sit down and went to the kitchen to get juice. I took two glasses and some juice from the fridge. I pored a little bit less to the other glass and took out a vial from my pocket. A "everything goes as I want to" potion. Slurps and Burbs really have to come up with better names. I poured the vial into the glass with less juice while repeating Sophie will be in love with me over and over again in my head.
When I came out the kitchen it was dark outside. "I don't think I'll ever get over the fact that it gets dark outside in seconds." Sophie said staring into the distance. "Mmm" I said not really paying much attention. I gave Sophie the glass that had the potion and started sipping mine.
"It should take over night for it to work." I thought
"What will?" Sophie asked out loud. "No-nothing." I stammered. Just as Sophie finished her juice Fitz walked in and froze when he saw Sophie. "Listen Sophie-" he started but Sophie interrupted him. "Why? What would I listen?! You didn't think to tell me earlier that you and Stina dated for awhile? You've know from the start that I hated Stina, but you never thought I deserved to know this?!" She finished and ran out the room. "Not cool man, not cool at all." I said and walked out to go find Sophie.
I figured Sophie would be outside. And she was. But not in plain sight. She was in a secret room-ish kind of thing. Fitz and Alden thought they were the only ones who knew about it p, but I once saw them go in there and I've know about it since. So for about 12-ish years.
I opened the door and there she was dipping her feet in the pond and crying. Most of the people I know are ugly cries but Sophie wasn't one of them. She was a silent crier. Tear fell down her cheeks but she didn't let out any sounds.
"Sophie, Fitz is kind of a jerk. Sometimes. Very rarely. Yeah, I'm actually just trying to make you feel better. You'd think that because I'm an empath I'm good with emotional stuff, but I'm really not." Sophie chuckled a bit. But then something seemed to hit her and tears started coming out of her eyes faster. "Sophie, hey it's ok." I said coming next to her and comforting her. "This is we're we had our first kiss!" She said. "Oh Sophie." I said pulling her in for a hug.
"Now I understand you're going through some emotional shit, but how does some mallowmelt and scary stories sound like to you? We can find a room with a lock and lock it so the toad can't come in." I said getting up. She chuckled. "Sure let's go." "Thanks." She adds. "Anytime Foster. Anytime."
"Last one inside is a pile of vermillion poop!" I shout and start bolting. But something hard cuts my running short... a god damn door. Sophie comes behind me and starts laughing while I'm wheezing in pain. "You do understand that you have to open the doors they aren't automatic."
"Come let's go inside and get some cookies. And ice." Sophie says offering her hand. "Ice? Why ice?" I ask. "For you. You know to ease the swelling. Wait, no, never mind, human remedy." She says. "Ice? Really? Well, we have elixirs for everything. Fading, throbbing concussions, pain-" Sophie faked a yawn. "Ok I get it, elves love their elixirs."
Sophie opened the door and stepped out. I was fixing my clothes so I didn't realize Sophie had stopped before I pumped into her. "Sophie move." I said, but then I realized who was in front of her. The toad. I took Sophie's hand and pulled her past Fitz- no I mean The toad- and didn't even give him a second glance.
When we were in the halls of Everglen Sophie started whimpering. I lead her to the kitchen and sat her down on one of the bar stools. I opened the tap and gave her some water "drink" she took the cup and drank it. It looked like she was on autopilot. So I did the most logical thing.
Splashed water on her face. That got her going. "Keefe!" I pretended like I didn't hear her. I was opening cupboards looking for mallowmelt. "Found it!" The kitchen was awfully quiet. I turned around and didn't see Sophie anywhere. "Sophie?!" I walked around the kitchen and didn't see her anywhere. "Sophie this isn't funny, come out!"
"Omg Sophie!"
A/N I'm such an evil author... muahahhahhaha this chapter had 1000 words. That's impressive. For me..
Ok but seriously I have a question. Why do people write fan fics?
Like, I write fan fics because they're easy to write. You basically have a ready canvas and you just have to paint, or write. And also because I want to make ships happen...
Now, like in my opinion an author is good if they're for example writing a Sokeefe fan fic and the make me hate Fitz..
But yeah tell me your answer to the question. Baiiii!
